That's exactly why they do it. They know that most mortals with a stash of Easter Eggs in the house cant resist eating a few of them. And then, when you go to replace them in the week before Easter, there are no special offers then, are there? The best you can do is re-buy them in a different shop.

So what they really mean is 75 pence easter eggs sold at their proper price from wednesday?
they’ve been on tescos shelves since the start of january, probably so they can legally say “previously offered at £1.50” or whatever. (edited)

No creme egg ones on offer?

They were the best value egg to buy, back when they had 2 creme eggs.. it made no sense really why they had two eggs while others like mars had 1 bar.. (edited)

Looks like it’s only nestle ones I’d imagine Cadbury ones will be along at some point

Nah, it's a vodka based alcoholic beverage.

Just checked in Tescos in Stoke. Says £1.50 but all the stated eggs are scanning at 75p

No Easter eggs in the offer on display in Tesco Chineham Spoke to Manager and they're only available in full range stores. Smaller stores don't have Easter eggs until after Valentine's. (edited)

They are the size of a real medium sized egg.

I’ve got no chance of keeping them untouched unless I get like 30 easter eggs to last until easter, but fortunately I haven’t been able to find any in the Birmingham Tescos so it’s a blessing in disguise

That doesn't seem correct, I got some from a small Tesco Express today.

Express store may be different again. I'm just passing on the conversation I had with the manager of the Chineham store when I asked about the lack of 75p eggs and showed him a picture of the online offer. They were available at Reading as it is a full range store but not at smaller stores until after Valentine's.

Anyone notice how Easter eggs aren't called Easter eggs anymore?
