If you are any sort of Engineer/Craftsman/Technician/Mechanic then you will know that this socket set is probably one of the best out there (value for money and quality wise). They have a type of socket for everything all well made and crafted. Including a lifetime warranty on all parts (Just keep the receipt and its an instant swap!). I have personally used this set on Home jobs at work and on few vehicles and it is perfect. Was supposedly £350 but reduced by 50% in sale to £175. Then use code "15TOOLS" at checkout for further 15% to bring the total to £148.75. No idea how long this will last sorry hurry and snatch this deal up guys!!

Perhaps too subtle.... I was likening Halfords tool sales to DFS sofa … Perhaps too subtle.... I was likening Halfords tool sales to DFS sofa sales. Far too frequent! These are always around this price.

I understand that they are frequent however the offer is good not just an endorsement? the quality and variety that comes in the set makes it hard to match price wise to anything i've seen lately. unlike home furniture companies which actually are terrible deals and misleading.

But when a sale is on regularly once a month (and I hasten to add these have been much cheaper in the past) is that not proving that your product is not worth the original rrp and purely marketing hype? I find these deals misleading as they do not show the true worth of the product.
The quality is OK.and will suffice for semi professional use but they are not by any long shot, top of the range tools and a very far reach from the Advanced pro that Halfords used to sell.
As for variety, yes wonderful but most of the kit is never going to see the light of day not many will need 1/4 and 3/8 one or the other will suffice and even fewer will probably need to venture outside of metric sockets unless suddenly most of the uk decides to become vintage car mechanics.
As for the lifetime warranty I'd rather my tooling didn't break in the first place

At the end of the day its Halfords Advance and many pro mechanics will be using them regardless of opinion here..
The lifetime guarantee sees to that, compared with many other pro tools out there Halfords advance range are brilliant value for money.

Any problem with a tool and they swap it for a new one no quibble!
