Something like Halfords Advanced 100 Pc Socket Set | Halfords UK is a good place to start. Personally I would avoid the sets full of spanners and screwdrivers etc as you can buy better ones seperately. But the Halfords sockets are spot on.
Most of the sockets are the same but it comes with a nastier looking case. Advanced set has a 3.5 and 5.5mm socket that are missing from the cheaper one.
Socket set not as good as they use to be and they have stopped covering case which is very poor quality under the lifetime guarantee. Thankfully I have an e mail from their customer services saying the case is covered. Produce every time required and they always replace full set (edited)
