    Reviews for the TV

Dont compare it to the USA model....

delving into the spec sheets of the slightly differently named models (the UK gets the U8HQ, the US gets the U8H and Australia gets the U8HA) it seems that the TVs are not identically specified across each territory.

Their designs differ considerably, and more importantly, it also appears that they don’t get the same core panels or local dimming controls. The US model, for instance, seems to use a VA panel and more than 500 dimming zones, while the UK model uses an IPS panel and 160 dimming zones. The audio systems are different between territories, too. (edited)

Thanks for that. If you had to choose a 65” for around £1000, what would you go for? I could stretch a bit further but I’m reluctant to. Thanks

I fell for the USA reviews and purchased the 75" at Currys for £1200 just before Christmas last year. My main reason for purchase is that we have a southern facing living room and needed something more substantial than our older Hisense 65AE6100UK. By comparison, this is a great TV, and I've had no issues with it. No, it's not an OLED or as stated the exact same panel as the USA get, but its still good and £1200 for a 75" tv I'm not complaining, with a little fine tuning and selecting the right settings for the film I'm about to watch isn't a deal breaker. (Often, have to switch between the Atmos Vision presets day/night/custom depending on time of day l and film).

The UK model does not get the best reviews... The USA model is a different tv.
