For anyone getting the jitters because of the tiny desktop mode...have a chew on this;

It makes the desktop entirely usable.

Enjoy

Anyone worried about battery drain this guy has a powershell script that runs with task scheduler which automatically turns off wifi and mutes the tablet when it's put to sleep, it auto turns on when it's woken.

For anyone wanting to pay or connect their verified paypal to purchase this or anything else in the MSstore, the microsoft account, needs to match the paypal details or you will just get an error, if you do get an error trying to pay with paypal, you will need to log in to your MSaccount and DETACH your paypal account from the "payments" section, log out of MSaccount, clear your cookies and then order it again, when you are at the point of paying by Paypal, then simply readd it to the payment methods, then in will work fine

Hot & ordered. Been looking at this for a while, and very tempted at £75 so for £50 it's a no-brainer.

They only have the cover in white though, and it's £20 so passed on that for now.

Superhot!

Ordered one... coz I DIDN'T need it!

thanks OP! Fantastic deal. Ordered one

and yes, I didn't need it either.

Great deal.

Quite bulky for a 7" but decent spec with 32GB on board (others only have measly16gb) and includes a whopping 1TB of online storage as well as a license (1 year) for Office 365!

Hard to resist ....

Is the 1TB of storage just for one year as well, or for life?

Don't need...must resist...what a bargain!

I don't think there's much left 'for life'.

It probably will expire with the office licence. reducing to free storage I believe.

don't need it, have an iPhone, iPad, laptop, 2 desktops and the wife has a Linx 8 Tablet... But I'm still hovering over the "buy" button, it's a great deal!

where do you put in the code?

Will these be upgradeable to Windows 10 when it comes out?

Screen quality any better on this than the Linx 7? I like the Linx, but the screen is a bit fuzzy

Also don't forget this tablet will also get a free upgrade to Windows 10

Found it. Add the code after you add the item to your basket. There is an enter code here

When you get to the checkout there's an option to "enter a promo code".

Thanks OP bought one.

Any keyboards available for this, so it can be used as an occasional PC (word, ppt and excel)

yes, on a PC too. Or, if you don't activate it on this, you can activate it on any tablet and PC (and you can deactivate and move your subscription to other devices)

Shame this does not have 2gb RAM, would be my minimum for a Windows tablet

Beep! Beep! Please make room for cherrytrail.

Wish MS would take a leaf from their Win 10 policy and offer a free upgrade from old tablets.

bluetooth or usb will work. No HDMI on this though, so not really useable as occasional PC

thanks for the info.

Is it tied to the email/account you register when we buy?

2.02% on top cash-back as an alternative

Tempted however have enough gadgets, and by the pictures and reviews it seems pretty thick.

However voted HOT as this is a crazy bargain.

This or a Samsung tab 4?

Didn't they say that Windows 10 will only be for 8' tablets and above?

Hi does anyone know if this tablet has windows 8.1 pro installed?

Just done some reading. All Office 365 consumers will soon get unlimited cloud storage... wowsers! And they've dropped the 2GB size limit. Watch out Google.

I had a £10 voucher too and it's stackable. Got mine for £39.99 delivered.

If you have a phone and tablet there is no need for this.. is what my brain, no need to make a un-needed purchase

Any web links where I can buy a USB keyboard for this for cheap?

Is the Windows App store still a little light on content?

Bought for my trip to Oz in a couple of weeks. The main tablet can stay at home now!

Excellent deal, even if it is just for the 1 year office and 1TB storage.

Apps are so, so, but you can run full blown windows on this.
