This is a tough one to vote on. Technically, to my knowledge, it's better value than going for a SIM-free handset and getting a similar SIM plan separately, but there were much better deals recently that included Buds2 Pro and SmartTag2 at about the same price (well, perhaps the upfront was a bit more).

Cashback has also been significantly reduced since it was £70 specifically for the S24 and now it's a mere £20 for new iD Mobile contracts (at TCB). In addition, using a coupon code that isn't listed could get the cashback declined.

So, yes, it's a deal, but I don't think it qualifies as a hot deal considering the recent offerings.

In regards to the trade in, my experience has gone a lot smoother this time with Currys as it has only taken them a week to authorise the payment. Despite my handset showing very small signs of burn-in, it still got accepted. Your mileage may vary though.
