I just have terrible experience with hp products, both laptops and printer.

    Ditto! ☹️

Good price, am sure some will complain about the entry-level GPU but this is the cheapest gaming laptop around right now, lots of expansion, looks good and the 12th gen CPU is modern and fast - so it'll handle most tasks other than gaming as well. Things to watch for seem to be the wobbly display (if you are rough with it) and average panel (so-so colours and middling brightness) - but then again, it's a value system and not as bad as people make out. Will be a great machine for those working to a budget.

Nice little budget gaming laptop for that price.

The screen specs look bad, but owners have stated it is better than expected.

    2 x DIMM slots.

Annoyingly a single M.2 slot. There is a space, contact points and a screw hole for a second M.2, but they opted not to give you the slot... (edited)

It's a shame it's not in mica silver colour. The white model looks awful.

Nice, upgradeable RAM is a plus.

One good thing about gaming-oriented laptops (if you can handle the noise and weight) is expandable RAM in most cases - so this makes it a good all-rounder too.

    Looks nice, When I click it’s saying it’s £829?
    plewis00's avatar
Deal price looks to be over, same here. Definitely was the lower price earlier. Goes without saying but not worth it at £829. (edited)

Now you have to tell us where we can get a laptop with a 3050 for close to this price. (edited)

A prehistoric GPU made at rock bottom prices by Ngreedia at Samsung. Is this really what anyone should be accepting new in 2023?

Thankfully all this nonsense ends in 2024, when AMD starts taking APUs seriously, and GOOD low end gaming will be done by integrated AMD graphics in the mobile space. Due to Intel's desperation in ALL CPU space, there will be a price war between Intel and AMD in the semi-decent iGPU product (AMD will obviously rule in the serious iGPU space).

Ngreedia will move exclusively to high end gaming laptops (discrete GPU) in mobile. It won't even compete anymore in low and mid-end mobile.

It all depends on what people are using this for.
Obviously no serious gamer/people into AAA games are going to buy it, but someone that wants a laptop for multiple uses, including a little light gaming on the side, will be happy enough with the price of this one.

It's the same as everything else gaming related: If you want more power, you have to spend more money (for the moment at least).

I'm also looking forward to AMD's future APU's, they've hyped them up a lot so lets hope they live up to it (without us having to break the bank). (edited)

Missprice with cancelled orders. Why is this a deal?
    The.Fat.Cat's avatar
Seeing as no one has posted saying their order has been cancelled yet, how do you know?
Plenty of Amazon misprices have been fulfilled in the past. (edited)
