How does this compare to the Amazfit Band 5? It would be mainly for monitoring sleep rather than workouts. I find the screen on the Amazfit a bit small. Thanks.

Not sure if all watches do this, but I often wake in the night. If I spend a bit of time on my phone it tends to make my sleep after that my new night sleep, so may say in the morning you only slept for 3hrs 45 when in reality I was in bed for 7 hours or whatever. Also I only tend to use mine to alert me to calls and messages if my phone is on silent/vibrate. I preferred my Honor Band 5, nice and simple, screen activated to see who a message was from. This you have to press the button and screen soon changes to reply options. Sometimes things don't feel like an upgrade particularly. Tend to find I have to wear it pretty tight for the measuring functions to work.

Are you talking about Huawei health?

Is you are... Then it works but you have too download it from Huawei rather than Google play

I got the Band 6 about 18 months ago, great battery life, does all the things I need, why pay more?

The 6 is currently more expensive from what i’m seeing lol

You need to download the Huawei Health app. I think it can now send data direct to Strava, but since it needs the phone for GPS I just use the Strava app.

I think you can export workout data, I did this a while ago when a Strava died.

It looks like it has been released on the Huawei website and another source says it was released in last April. I can't find anywhere to actually buy it, though.

To those who have a Huawei band, which app do you use with it? Can the data also be accessed on a laptop? Thanks

Apologies for repeating myself, but some people don't see comments posted as a reply. (edited)

Picked mine up last night upgrade from the 3e band and so far very impressed, seems a snip at the price

good deal I guess but in no way is it worth the "upgrade" from the band 6.. not sure why they bothered making this watch when its actually worse than its predecessor. I hope they arent turning into Xiaomi making newer models that are inferior than previous releases.
