Not terrible by any means, but as ever with UO sales the sale prices are prettymuch just the proper price, & the "original" prices are nonsense.

For example a quick look at the review of that Berghaus tent in the CCC mag shows a guide price of £900 when it launched in spring 22, with posts on forums last summer already showing people paying £750 for it. £699 is fine for a decent enough tent, but I seriously doubt anyone ever paid £1600 for it, and if they did they were mad. Same sort of situation applies to everything else here.

All prices are nonsense. JD Sports own UO and also own Berghaus, they can make their own rrp as they are pretty much the only retailer other than Go Outdoors, Millets and Black's, all of which they own.

    "£95" down to £29 Eurohike 15m Mains Kit, plus £3.95 delivery = £32.95

    Amazon UK = £32.95

That original price of £1700 is, like the tent, inflated.

I doubt anyone with basic common sense ever paid that full price.
