Seems £2 cheaper than Parcelforce, RM Medium parcel and UPS and FedEx usually have a good reputation.
Interparcel is also a good company to deal with.

    I recently had a poor experience with an international delivery with FedEx, that eventually was lost. The biggest problem was that I had not gone through FedEx directly, but rather one of these companies who are named as the shipper. This means FedEx won’t talk to you when something goes wrong and insist it it the shipper who talks to them.

    You are then at the mercy of the shipper and how interested they are in resolving your query. It took me 5 months before I received a refund. I was then sent a customs invoice from FedEx, even though the item was lost. Again, FedEx only wanted to talk to the shipper. The shipper said they don’t deal with customs issues. Luckily I got it sorted out eventually with Fedex in the destination country.

    The point is, it’s difficult to deal with the delivery companies if you are not named as the shipper.

    If it’s over something along the lines of 90x60x60cm u have to drop it off at a FedEx depot. Doesn’t cost any extra for the size though (edited)

    I’ve just had a horrid experience with FedEx, I’ll try keep it short to help people. If u set up ur account online DO NOT request pickup for the parcel. I had 3 missed pickups which made them call me and they said it automatically sets u up for international shipping ONLY. 4 weeks later and I’m still not set up for mainland shipping, so I ended up taking my parcel to a FedEx depot.

    Who has time to sit in and wait for people to come and collect ? Does any parcel company give a timed collection slot, like some do for timed delivery slots ?
    Most parcel companies do their collections in the afternoons anyway.

    FedExbought over TNT UK - a very good company to work for, but they all work on thin margins and parcel exceptions happen all the time.

    Fedex isn't appearing on the list for me on interparcel.

    I have a 5kg parcel to send. 80cmx45cmx10cm

    Fedex does show up on parcel2go at this cost
