    Not skijack.Not responsibly sourced.

They use to be unless they dropped it but it’s on one of the blurry images on listing, it’s in the description and they have it on their website?

    ‘Our Sustainability Commitment
John West is committed to sustainable fishing so future generations can enjoy tuna for years to come. The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is one of the leading certification programme for identifying fish that is traceable to a sustainable source.

John West have nearly 50 John West canned products carrying the MSC blue label in July 2018.’

    Less oily, more salty

    I think that's brine water.

Spring is actually the best to go for. Less salty and less fatty. Actually maintains the levels of omega 3 which is good.

No stock for up to 4 weeks.
I'd go to Iceland before shrinkflation turns these into dolls house sized tins.

I'm pretty sure that one of the harbingers of the Apocalypse is people having to order cheap tinned tuna on Amazon in order to survive..

This is, like, 2 stages away from Mad Max.

More fishy and more smelly. Sunflower one best taste IMO

Beat the shortage by draining the tuna and voila you have yourself some sunflower oil

Frequently bought together - hand cream?
Is there a supply problem with mayonnaise or salad cream now?

Only recently gone back to oil when it was pointed out that it had a more intense flavour, can't go back now.

Bought £20 worth, absolutely love these in sunflower oil. Not sure how anyone can eat the brine ones thhough, disgusting.
  25. BrianButterfield's avatar
In oil is the only way to eat them imo, in anything else you have to add sauce or they’re dry and flavourless.

I remember the dolls house sized 50g tins in the 60s. Grandmother mashed up one of these microtins with some stale bread and salad cream to make it go further.......................
