Thanks for sharing OP, was just looking at this the other day at full price. Seems to get mixed reviews but that seems to be the case with all paint sprayers.

Thanks for the comment. You're absolutely right, and it's the reason I haven't purchased it. I wonder if this is more down to quirks of each individual sprayer and technique, as opposed to limitations of this model?

A very long time ago I sprayed large parts of my Moggie 1000 using the output end of a cylinder vacuum cleaner - seemed to work OK but I did only pay £50 for the car!

I'm a fan of WORX tools (got lots of them) but this seems expensive to me as a bare tool.

    I agree with you.

I do like my Worx stuff, other than the pressure washer which is a bit disappointing - it's been a few years since I've painted the wooden fence panels because I bloody hate doing it, would this handle a few tubs of Ronseal onecoat etc?

Are you going to mask off the rest of the garden? Seriously!

I would think that’s what it is best for . The picture seems to show a viscosity cup so you can check before painting. Most are now water based so can be diluted if needed

Why are Worx batteries so damn expensive?

Compare to other brands, even professional brands like Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita etc, I actually don't know why They seem unjustifiably more expensive than all of them.

Mike from Mike's Positively Technical World released a teardown video of a Worx 6ah battery vs it's non-oem counterpart, and it highlighted the build quality
However, the other pro brands also have good build quality...

I will anecdotally mention that I own several Worx batteries going back to ~2016 that I use for working on our new home. To give you an example, at the weekend I built a 3m x 1.5m x 1.5m storage box using C24 2x4 timber. I made maybe 50 cuts, and used an impact driver for all of the wood screws. I used 3x 2ah batteries across both tools, and there was still a lot of charge left in the 3rd battery. These are the ~2016 batteries I'm talking about.

All that being said, they still are too expensive.
