Didn’t work just now for me .

Armstead quick dry satin is miles better than this, around £25 but worth every penny.

Can never get a good finish with water based gloss or satin paint, always use an oil based top coat imo.

Yes I saw that but the Crown one is non drip paint which I think is worth the extra money. Johnston products are cheap but are aimed more at professionals.

I would never consider an animal as family, not even the two baby hedgehogs I over wintered a few years ago, feeding and cleaning them daily no matter the weather.

B and M. The Range etc. Even Wickes are competition to B and Q. Argos now also. These shops apart from Wickes sell Johnstones retail paints pretty good value for the money. On a par with dulux crown retail range. Probably slightly better in most cases in my opinion

B&q and homebase are in different target groups/markets - 1 is more trade, 1 is for leisurely browsing. also there are plenty of competition - Wilkos, wicks, b&m, HM etc. Homebase need to provide customer experience but failing miserably with staff lacking knowledge and uninspiring showrooms and lack of high quality core ranges. It's always bad for the staff to lose jobs.

Mine was streak marks that became visibly worse after the first week due to steam in the bathroom - awful stuff and they actually did a recall on the product shortly after I used it but couldn't be botthered with the faff of complaining and compensation etc. Stick to Dulux people!

Me too. I've just done a bedroom in valspar and the finish is poor. Easily knocks and marks. Very disappointed in it. It's too much hassle to repaint / sand it down again, but I'll not be using it again for any of the other rooms.

I purchased the 2 tubs to decorate a full house, it covers well, and for the price you can't go wrong.

This is contractors, so ideally used for new plaster as a base coat. Not something you would use for a finish as without any vinyl in it it'll have no durability, you could wash it off. Don't like valspar paint myself, but as a contractors might be alright and a good price.

oh and i mixed the charcoal with some ivory coz its really dark, made the perfect shade of grey (teehee)

That's annoying, I have the the dark green. I'll confess I've been struggling to see any since I last purchased some.

The only problem every time I see it they only have white available.

I'm sure the OP isn't saying go out and get Prime to get free delivery. IF you already have prime then it IS a good deal as you will get the paint delivered for free.
