Read the trip advisor comments first, some very mixed comments.... "Me and my partner stayed here on the 07/07/23. We got to our room and had to listen to a dog barking for an hour as it had been left alone. Shocking night sleep as no fan was provided and floorboards from room above could have raised the dead with the noise they made. Breakfast the following day unfortunately consisted of being put on a table that seemed like the one you bring out as a spare at Christmas as my legs would not even fit under it! And then under cooked food mainly the poached eggs. Sorry to say if you use a travel zoo voucher at this hotel you are not a priority."

Well we could focus on the negative reviews, but yes they are mixed, but this person seemed to like their stay

Loved our stay, fantastic room well maintained clean and tidy, shower was like a mini massage, food was amazing especially getting to watch the chef cook your steaks, very warm welcome from receptionist on arrival (Emily)

Looks a good deal but given up on places that say they are "dog friendly". Either the room is covered in dog hair, you have dogs barking all night or dogs begging for food at breakfast.

Worth paying the extra to stay elsewhere IMO.

I stayed here a few years ago, was very nice. Food was great, room was fine. You were able to use the amazing swimming pool facilities at another hotel nearby (Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa) that was part of the same hotel group. Not sure if that would be included in this deal, but if it is then worth it in my opinion!

The thing that concerns me with these voucher deals is they're almost always non-flexible & non-refundable.
Travelzoo are very clever saying it's a "Flexible Deal", however, that only applies to the 14 day cooling off period with the initial voucher purchase.
Once you redeem the voucher and book the hotel, it's almost certainly non-amendable and non-refundable. The terms say you could be landed with "additional fees or voucher forfeiture" if you cancel.
Only book if you're sure plans won't change. A lot could happen between now and March 2024. (edited)

I’ve stayed here twice, pre pandemic. First time was amazing, the second was average. But honestly for £99 for one night, it’s worth it.

The food here is amazing too

£229 for a fri/sat with 4x breakfast and a bottle of prosecco is a bargain here.

Youll be paying £400+ anywhere else in bowness and its a 3mile walk in then £15 taxi back after a few drinks.
