    Just a heads up from someone who has a large 120cm one of theses, the amount of fuel (logs) you can have in here safely (and recommend in the manual supplied) is nothing like the massive roaring fire in the pics.

    These are ace though, great for marshmallows or EU s’mores using dark chocolate Biscoff biscuits.

    Do you need to buy the mesh screen when using these?? To prevent sparks?

    You don’t need too, but that is dependant on the wood your burning and the size of the stack. If your worried about sparks etc, I think your looking for a smokeless burner that deals with all the mess and smoke, they are a lot more expensive (they look like old washing machine drums)… Search for Solo Stoves on Amazon

    Are these suitable to use as an incinerator? I have 2 sacks of papers I want to burn. I now have a shredder but want to get rid of the bulk easier. An incinerator would leave a mess where it stands...do you empty the ash from these by tipping? Thanks. (edited)
