Seems a good price for the spec, I was looking for a Samsung A8, but this has 4gb ram where the sammy only has 3.

Only problem for me is this is the 2nd gen, and in the past the 3rd gen could have been had for only £20 more - but i don´t know the difference in spec between them, nor have a time machine and i want to purchase a 10¨ tablet now.

If people don´t like this, please comment with a decent 10¨ tablet in the same price range. Many Thanks

I have a tcl tab hd, which is the same specs as this. I can't recommend it because for a bit More money you get a considerably better experience, the screen Resolution is to low and the processer chugs. (edited)

This or the Fire HD 10?

From experience of having a Lenovo 10 Plus and a Fire HD 8.

I'd choose the Lenovo every time.

The Amazon app store is very limited in comparison to the full fat Google Play Store.

And if you want to read or listen. You can still download the Kindle and/or Audible app on the Lenovo.

This should fly with 4gb ram no?
    Andrew_Smart's avatar
It doesn't fly per say, but it works totally fine. Lags a bit when trying to switch apps fast

Anyone confirm if this is nice and smooth/snappy navigating between screens? I was looking at the Samsung A8 but thinking this might be slightly better with less bloat also? My old Samsung Tab A (2019) is annoyingly sluggish swiping between different screens, even when factory reset so looking for an upgrade.

I've got the 3rd gen with 4gb ram - I don't game at all but it feels fine for general use.
I like that the Lenovos mostly have little bloat - it replaced an earlier Lenovo tablet.

I have this tablet and its good enough for this kind of money. We paid a bit more last year. Easy enough to get used to , swipe across, up , down. Etc. A bit different to Samsung. So is the price.

i have the fire hd 10 7th gen, i used forum.xda-developers.com/t/w…04/ to disable
the bloatware, works..but, id lke something all android 0 bloat, was going to root the fire hd, but it's hit and miss, and roms for it that are stable, (don't have a go unless you know what you are doing) this lenovo looks ok, the fire was a gift, i would not buy one unless your into all things amazon, its just a sales gadget wrapped up in a skin.

You need to list it as WiFi only. Saves people time if they want an LTE version.

What's the benefit of lte tablet?

Only diffrence the 3rd Gen has the full HD screen 1080p. This is not full HD. You can only watch videos in 720p. For a 10" screen they will look a bit off quality... (edited)

My daughter has had two of these down the years. They've been great.

My daughter has an older version of one of these, brilliant tablets btw, but its a bit sluggish with games now, any recommendations for an upgrade? Newer version or a Samsung?

You'll have to spend a but more to get a Samsung s8.

That's why I'm happy with the cheaper 200 quid lenovos. Otherwise, just go big and spend the money.

Last 10 years I bought 3 Lenovo tablets for my parents so far. All worked fine for 2 years. After that Lenovo will give a new android update. If we install that update, tablet will crash more frequently. There will be no support from Lenovo

The Gen 3 version of this from Argos for £130 or a Samsung A7 (£133 from Amazon?) Specs look similar, use case is mostly for my Fiancée having videos on around the house and a bit of light browsing.
