Thanks Mastercc. Just bought. Manged to add the 10% refer a friend discount also. So came in at £165.75. Had been looking at the previous deal but didn't fancy white bezel. Far better in black.

I received this TV on Saturday and so far the eldest is very impressed with the quality, he's using it for Xbox and Netflix viewing from about 8foot/2.5m away.
Looks a good value acquisition, and I've been burnt by an LG failure in the past but the value said yes
Junk
I wouldn't say junk, it's an entry level TV. It will suit many as a main or bedroom /kids TV.... I'm sure HD stuff looks fine on it. Yes there's better but there's no point comparing this to a £1200 TV.

Have a little older model of this, good TV, very happy with it.- I desperately need a new tv for the bedroom and keep coming back to this but the only thing that puts me off is the one year warranty. That sucks! (edited)A five LG warranty on the more expensive tv's only covers the panel after the first year and you pay for labour. Tbh they're getting cheap enough now to take that gamble. But I guess its even better if you can get a warranty thrown in.
