    I got mine for £21.99 just before Xmas to be able to check on the dog. It was bigger than I expected, but no real complaints about its performance.

    Unfortunately it runs through a "looking around" routine each time it's switched on, which doesn't lend itself to pairing with a smart plug to switch on & off as required, so it really needs leaving on & setting to privacy mode if you want to check in from time to time.

    For use as a 24/7 security camera with continuous feed, the above won't be an issue.

    These don't require a hub but be mindful that (afaik) these are yet compatible with the H200 hub (for storing on the hub's SD card rather than locally). Only C4xx hubs seem to work with the H200 at the moment.

    Are you sure? Never noticed that. Maybe that's only over internet. Don't think it does that on WiFi.

    I have a couple of these and they are far superior in use to the older Nest Camera that I had before.

    The Tapo app is the best way to view footage although I have them streaming to my Google Nest Hubs as well.

    If you want the latest tech (AI, what else?!), the latest version- Tapo 2K QHD Indoor Pan/Tilt Security Wi-Fi Camera- is available and on offer for a few pounds more on Amazon.
