    Aldi magnum are usually a very similar price. Both seem highly rated.

    I'd be tempted to chuck 50 in a zip lock, the last 15 in my box have started to swell.

    I thought this was just me and bad luck with batches - Lidl W5 All in One, open the box and ever since they switched to the water soluble wrappers halfway through they go discoloured and then by the end they’re pretty bulky. Kitchen well within normal humidity levels and kept in a cupboard in a cool dark place. Never occurred to me to chuck them in a resealable sandwich bag! (Before the plastic police come for me, yes I intend to reuse said bag for future storage!)

    Got a bag of the Lidl platinum ones last week, about 10p a tab, to compare to Fairy Platinum which from my experience are the only ones worth buying, glass results being the biggest test, and never seem to have close to 10p a tab offers anymore. Pleased to say they were every bit as good so will load up tomorrow if they have them. For anyone who feels the same way they're a bargain too.

    For info, I live in a very hard water area and use salt and rinse aid in the dishwasher too as instructed. (edited)

    Haven't seen them in my local branch in a while. Last time I got a box was when you got a free W5 item through Lidl Plus app and these were on the list.

    I've been using the Asda tabs and the ones sold in savers
    Trouble now is the smart meter telling me it's 70p to put on the dishwasher!

    Are you using the eco setting? It's meant to run for longer on a lower temp, so you'd save energy.

    This is exactly the same per tablet price as the normal small packets, another XXL non-saving which seems to have become a thing nowadays.

    The 10p a tab bargain point is for Fairy Platinum premium type tabs, not these block type ones.
