    Thought this was average. Similar quality to carte D’or.

    Best that can be said for Carte D'or is that Carte D'or is similar to icecream.

    I can't eat "ice cream" like that. It just has that gum feeling, and Carte D'or has not only Guar Gum, but also Tara gum and locust bean gum. It's got 2 types of syrups to go with the sugar and coconut fat in place of cream. Even the milk is from powder. They also add too much flavoring for my liking, which is likely to hide the flavour of the coconut fat.

    Cart D'or is probably one of the better, pretend ice creams, but it's not on a level with proper ice cream and Mackie's is one of them. (edited)

    Do pop up to this part of Scotland sometime! Mackie's is about on a level with Rizza's of Huntly, which is also available in supermarkets hereabouts, but both are well short of various local options including the likes of Giulianotti in Stonehaven or Bicocchis in Fraserburgh (with a couple dozen different flavours to choose from, there... ; )

    Honeycomb is amazing. Disappointed with the Strawberry Swirl. Didn't taste creamy and tasted more like cheaper supermarket ice-cream. I know I'm going to offend someone saying that (edited)

    Anyone tried the aldi version of this? It's soooo good gianis I believe honeycomb flavour £2.19 for 1l tub
