Has anyone actually used one of these from birth? Or is a Carry cot style best? And for what reasons?

I had the Oyster 3 travel system for my little boy, and we used the carrycot from birth until around 6 months as advised. You can use this one from birth as it lays flat but we chose not to. The carry cot is much more cosy and suitable for a newborn and getting them in and out is really easy. You also dont have to worry about strapping them in, they can just be tucked in with their blankets without the worry of the straps at all. The other bonuses of the carry cot for this model is it can be used for overnight too (not all can though!), so we never purchased a moses basket or anything for downstairs, we just used the carry cot. Our one was slightly curved so it would rock gently but had feet so it could stay still too. We purchased a waterproof liner and a fitted sheet in case of any accidents, so it stayed clean. The only downside to the carry cot is that it is quite bulky to put in the car, but if you have the room I would 100% recommend

I try avoid all of them online baby websites. They all the same. Stick with the proper well established stores.

All they do is price match the well known stores and maybe drop price by a fiver (edited)

Visited their shop in Ringwood last weekend and purchased a travel system for use from birth. The staff were amazing, they really knew their stuff and were able to advise us on different brands and systems based on what we wanted. The shop is a complete showroom where you can try out all of the available strollers/ travel systems. We were even able to take it to our car to try it in the boot to see if it fit! We ordered in store and they offered to hold it for collection until we need it. Really great customer service and the same quality as you'd find in any main stores (they stock most of the largest brands)

My wife and I purchased the mamas and papas ocarro pushchair and I cannot say it has been good. The braking system has failed twice within 6 months. Each time it fails the wheels lock so you need to carry it home! Customer service has been good to be fair but we are still within the warranty period.

Well after a good few days testing it ok extremely happy with the Strada, whilst I still like the Ocarro it’s big and unwieldy and not quite as manoeuvrable as the Strada , the colour is great also and not as green as I have feared
