* courses in Bold are confirmed for wave 1 (edited)
“Race on 48 remastered courses from across the Mario Kart series with the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass! Six waves will be released, each including eight courses that can be played locally and online. All six waves will be released by the end of 2023.
Please note: waves of courses cannot be purchased individually.”
If you have the standard online pass, it doesn't include these courses. The expanded (premium) service includes this pass as long as you are subscribed to it.
Another thing to bear in mind is that buying it outright will enable all users on the console to play the extra courses, the pass with the expansion pack will only be playable by the member who has subscribed (edited)
For those wanting to cancel you can do it easily on their website - ec.nintendo.com/my/
Same boat, Nintendo say email or to try this - in about to try in a sec
From the HOME Menu on your Nintendo Switch console, open Nintendo eShop and select the user that placed the pre-order.
Select your user icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.
Select Pre-Orders from the right-hand menu to view any pre-orders you have placed.
Select Cancel Pre-Order next to the pre-order you wish to cancel.
It's in the main post to be fair, 18th March
you get the code working 13th March
It's on the page you buy it
"Please note codes will be available on 13th March (playable from 18th March)" (edited)

Yes codes sent after purchase, I have mine but cannot redeem until March 13th.
I wouldn't have thought so as the maps in Battle mode are arenas rather than courses
you do, its one payment for all the courses
There's no ambiguity, it's all of them.
The pass entitles you to all 48 courses as they're released
Please ignore this person, this is not true at all. The price is for all 48 tracks which will eventually be released. Good grief.
The codes they send out don’t seem to redeem just yet, so be warned.
The most cost effective way is to buy this, then join a family membership group for the online service. Family membership can be shared and a slot can cost around £4 for a year for standard and £7.50 for the expanded service. You will own this DLC and if you stop subscribing it will still be yours. If you don't play online and don't want the online services (NES/SNES/N64/SMD, cloud saves) then just get this.
You can play with friends who don't have the pack or expansion:
'Courses from wave 1 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass can be played from March 18th locally or online in Friends and Rivals races, even if only one player owns the Booster Course Pass or has access to it as part of a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. From March 22nd, courses from wave 1 will also appear in the Random selection when playing Global or Regional races with anyone online. '

So true. Every previous Nintendo handheld has had backwards compatibility with the previous generation. This time somebody at big N had the 'bright' idea to just resell us the previous games.
13th of March
It's an EU code so will be fine
They won't until 13th March, DLC is playable from 18th March
This will be fine, it's the same price structure as the Animal Crossing DLC which was a similar discount from resellers (edited)
Nope. This was debated to death in the last couple of days. It's 48 tracks.
Same here. (edited)
They're all playable online too, so you'll be matched with others who either have bought this or the expansion pass
This is to keep though, and playable to all on the same console which the expansion pass isn't (edited)
No
The mechanics of Mario Kart 8 will be the same, so unfortunately the features of previous games like Double Dash won't be included I'm sure.
From 13th March you can apply the code, it's playable from 18th March
It's definitely not a misprice. The pricing is exactly the same as the Animal Crossing DLC which is also on the expansion pass; Nintendo RRP is £22.49, resellers sold between £16 and £17
It's extra courses for the full Mario Kart 8 game which needs to be bought separately (edited)
It is. Watch the video in the OP
Yes, you need the main game to play these extra courses. Argos or Currys have the physical version for £36.99 or My Nintendo Store has the digital version for £33.29 (£29.99 if you have Student Beans discount).
Thank you for contacting My Nintendo Store.
Regarding your query, yes. The price includes all waves on Booster Course Pass.
Code can be redeemed from 13th March and content playable from 18th March
You were right. I'm sorry I missed that. Oh well...at least I've supported that small indie company known as Nintendo.
