Customs duty may be charged on top of the headline price, usually on items costing more than £135 Information
Hi all,

After a lot of research, i found that there is a band 20 supported Meizu M6 Note variant (M721H). Best price i could find is through AliExpress but it isn't the easiest site to use as the sales pages for the global version of this phone are in Russian. You can use Chrome to translate the page by clicking the book in the top right corner.

At checkout it takes a whopping 77p off for purchases over £75.

Looks like a good alternative to the Redmi Note 4 for people who are disappointed with the camera.

I've ordered from AliExpress, gearbest, banggood, dealsextreme and tomtop. All of these retailers have delivered what was ordered as described and with no customs charges, that's not to say they are all perfect but then again apart from Amazon which retailer is really any better here? (edited)

I've ordered one from here, i'll let you know how i get on. I've ordered other things in the past from them (not regular) and not had a problem.

Gearbest only have the 4gb 32gb/64gb Chinese versions for £100 more that don't support band 20.

Aliexpress give refund guarantee if your item doesn't arrive or part refund if not as described.

    How likely are updates?

Think there's firmware updates but not OTA. Looks stable enough on stock ROM. I reckon Oreo will eventually come out for it as this phone has only been out since around August.

Ive ordered this phone, but just from the AliExpress app. The global version does have band 20 & ota, but the global firmware doesn't have either. I wouldn't go near another Xiaomi phone again, good build but very poor on updates on the lower priced phones & miui is very poor (in my opinion).
