Free anytime delivery pass from April 2021 with 10% off until end of this year to NHS staff @ Morrison’s

From their Facebook page, I think this is very generous of them, 10% a whole year for nhs staff with free anytime delivery from April 2021.

To show our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the work everyone in the NHS has done, and continues to do, we’re extending our 10% discount for all NHS workers when they shop in our stores for the whole of 2021.

To help those who prefer to shop with us online, we're offering all NHS workers a free Morrisons Anytime Delivery Pass from 1 April, giving them free delivery on their online shopping for a whole year. It’s our way of saying thank you.

that saving over the year probably equates to much more than the offensively low pay rise offered to the hard working frontliners in the NHS.... Well done Morrisons!

A pay rise is a pay rise. Millions have lost jobs.

Important to correct falsehoods propagated by some folk. A "pay rise" maybe but not in absolute terms. If Bank of England target rate of inflation is 2% and a "pay rise" of 1%, actually a pay cut of 1%. Plus the DDRB recommended for doctors and agreed contractually 2.6% pay rise. To all those that lost their job, look at the economy pre covid, businesses were dying well before e.g. Debenhams, Arcadia, Carillion etc.

    Otherwise a great offer.

More opportunism by Morrison. 10% off deals abound targeted at NHS …More opportunism by Morrison. 10% off deals abound targeted at NHS workers, BLC card holders, NatWest and other bank account holders - carefully written to make sure that you can't use them in combination. Yet their prices are 20-30% HIGHER than real value retailers such as Aldi - where curiously I often see ambulance etc workers because most are canny enough to twig that they're better off there! As to the politics of pay rises, why is that in a deals forum? Let that be on Twxtter🤢

If you want branded products then Morrison’s is regularly the cheapest Supermarket already. Take another 10% of and they are comfortably the cheapest on average. Not everyone wants Aldi’s blag copies all the time. Some are excellent, some are a poor imitation or not to everyone’s taste.

As to the deal rather than some nonsense Aldi propaganda. Giving away a massive chunk of your margin for minimal marketing gains is a pretty lax form of opportunism. They made the gesture early doors and have already carried on longer than most. Some companies are actually run by people who want to do nice things for people from time to time.

Anyone know if the 10% for school staff has been continued too?

Really good of them (again) to offer far more to NHS staff than most have.

Just to note that the free delivery is instead of the 10% discount, so cheaper instore from start of April.
