A comfortable, adaptable and very lightweight tent for the minimalist solo traveller.
MSR backpacking tents give you liveable shelter for hostile environments, with a lightweight freestanding design. They use light fabrics and poles, weight-saving but comfortable designs, and are versatile and adaptable to your situation.
Engineered for 3-season camping, the Hubba NX is a solo backpacking tent with optimised, symmetrical geometry and a non-tapered floor that gives you the maximum space inside (because you didn't head out into the wild to feel constrained!) Its clever precision-engineered features such as the easy-entry D-shaped StayDry™ door and adaptable, cross-ventilating rainfly make it a very liveable shelter.
You can choose to use just the combination of elements that you need for your situation. Use just the rainfly and footprint to save carrying weight, or use just the mesh and footprint in warm summer conditions. Use all three components together in harsher weather.
Maximum space: Head and elbow room throughout tent; pole configuration maximizes head and elbow room; large vestibule to store gear
Liveable: Large StayDry™ door with built-in rain gutter; adaptable, cross-ventilating rainfly
Easy setup & packing: Unified hub-and-pole system with colour-coded clips; ultra-compact compression stuff sack
Rainfly kickstand vent
Adjustable rainfly (roll-up vestibule & stargazer view)
Adjustable integrated stake-out loops
Lightweight reflective guy-outs
Durable high-tenacity nylon fabrics
Reinforced Infinity bar tacks and lap-felled seams

sorted byTo anyone who gets this - the top pole goes ON TOP of the main pole, it doesn’t hang underneath like it wants to. Most accounts you can find of these going in strong winds are due to being setup incorrectly like this and it’s not obvious at all if you get it wrong.
