Came across these curry’s and have to say for the price this is an amazing deal. Food was delicious and tasted like a restaurant standard. Considering the cost of living this I think is an unbelievable deal

The chilled Mumtaz meals used to be good from CO-OP/Asda/Tesco or wherever used to stock them. These Iceland frozen ones arent the same, but they aren't the worst frozen curries you can get.

Iceland is being bad by hiding ingredients of Marinated Chicken Breast (13%) and Lidl one has too many bad ingredients like modified starch and only around 10% chicken. What a joke.

apparently mumtaz got a royal visit a couple of decades ago. Its all artificial now like their visitors.

I've not seen this in iceland stores by me. I used to buy that brands Keema Mattar and it was absoloulty lovely. Now I can't but it for lover nor money. I have checked their website but none of their stockists shown near me actually stocks the brand. I used tor drive around 10 miles to buy that brand from the only branch that I knew stocked it but even they stopped selling it.

Not at local either , also out of stock online
  19. mark6220's avatar
Pity its out of stock. Iceland have been putting their prices up by stealth since covid. The prices of their curry have been steadily rising. I wouid have snapped this up.
    Or 10

    Had one last night (jalfrezi).
Plenty of rice but not much chicken at all.
It was edible but nothing special, worth £2 but no more
