I can’t for the life in me find where to put in the code or the app.

Try this link, though it autopopulates with another older code, just blank that out them put in the OPs code

    myfitnesspal.com/premium/redeem?_branch_match_id=562702375958543840&code=MFPHEALTHY2020&dt=true&utm_campaign=Through+This+Together&utm_medium=premium&utm_source=Brand

The go back into the website - premium - subscription settings and switch off auto renew.

You can't enter a code on the app, it can only be done on the website. (edited)

I've just tried this. The site automatically grants me 30 days free premium, with no option to use the code for the free 3 months. Have I gone wrong somewhere?

One of the features I like is seeing the macros for each meal. I just use the free one as well but when there is a free trial I usually get it but not sure it is worth paying for as the free one is perfectly functional.

What did it do? The code ?

I clicked the link posted in the comments, which had the other code already in the code field, clicked submit and it applied the 3 months free.

Didn't use the code op posted, just the one that was already on the link

I am on a streak of 460 days using MyFitnessPal. I have never used premium and have lost close to 12 stone.

Good find. Mine finishes in June that I have now. Though I find myself using Lose It! App now.

Very tempted. But I got seriously obsessed with this app. Even took my scales on a date once. And no I'm not joking lol. Had a 6 pack though thanks to this and intermittent fasting, tabata skipping.

Hello, if it helps you can replace the old code in that URL to be the new one so it auto populates with the correct thing after you click it you can also cut off the meta data at the end, ie

Got the same, it tells me I have 30 days. But when I input the promo code it tells me invalid.

Never used premium, but the times I have used it to calorie count (when trying to cut out unnecessary things, and lower weight ahead of restarting running) it’s really worked.

Was only looking at this app yesterday as I need to lose my lockdown weight. Looks like there is a pretty active forum on there as well for workout/nutrition tips.

This is brill. Using the free version of it is as well. Also just spotted the lose It app as a few have mentioned and will try them both and see which one is better. Also with lose it got an offer for £15 a year for premium features which is tempting as well. I have been using MFP app since beginning of Feb and lost over a stone just by recording what I eat which is brill.

The online community is great - you don’t need premium for the majority of features either but it’s a nice bonus especially when you start off using the app

I tried lose it but without premium it is useless, the free version of myfitness pal is by far the most competent of all the meal trackers I have found. I did love the lose it free trial, but after a week it becomes aweful

TransferWise (now Wise) have a virtual card function which worked for this. I'll still cancel the subscription but as it's a debit card that only pays when in credit it makes me feel more comfortable with these sort of offers.
