    At those speeds it will be a Sata controller, not nvme.

    I bought one of these last week when they were 10% off via their email newsletter. The supplied cable is USB-C 3.1 to USB. I have copied some files after formatting the drive to NTFS, & the average writing speed was around 225Mb a second. About half the speed quoted in their listing. I have been in contact with Mymemory customer support asking if they have supplied the correct cable. They quickly replied saying it was the right one, but I reckon it might be faster with a USB-C 3.1 to USB-C 3.1 cable. I have ordered one from another supplier, and hope it does the trick.
