    Swoledup: I had an old XL, tried both and went with the new XL. Made no sense to me to get a smaller screen.

    Not used the additional buttons yet tho. Time will tell.

    I called Tesco and after 25 minutes of going round and round their call centre I have a replacement to pick up tomorrow.

    I turned off auto brightness and it's vastly improved but still not that … I turned off auto brightness and it's vastly improved but still not that stable when moving the ds around as you would with motion controls. How is everyone else experience? If this is just how it is then that's fine. Would like to try out another one to make sure though.



    It's like that. It's more stable with small movements.

    I've already got a 3ds XL and want to upgrade, but not sure whether to go for the new XL or the new 3DS. I kind of like the new 3DS coloured buttons but I have pretty large hands so don't know if the new 3DS will be too small. Ive watched a couple videos and the new 3ds doesn't seem too small compared to the XL. Any ideas / recommendations?

    new xl is same size and shape as old xl. imagine you have more shoulder buttons behind your current screen... I find them really awkward and I have fairly large typists hands. I'm pretty sure I would have rathered the non xl version now that I have it
