I don't understand the problem with it being an S. I bought it thinking it would be an S and I'm quite happy with it. It's super quiet compared to my jet engine premium Xbox and I got a new headset which I needed also the fact that the S is still more expensive than the E everywhere else. Making me think the E is the budget Xbox

1] Lots of back log of titles that could and will get cheaper as the next gen consoles are released.
2] To keep as a spare in case current unit breaks down - cheaper to have this then acquire parts and time/effort to swap etc.

Totally depends on what level of reverse engineering you want to apply to the device!
But yes the rule-of-thumb is indeed that the newer Corona slims are more tricky as you need to buy a Postfix Adapter to access the POST_OUT point as Microsoft go wise to the RGH (ResetGlitchHack). Also the DVD ROM's are harder to flash as again Microsoft implemented better protection!

If you are looking to get a 360 to mod then I recommend getting a second-hand Slim (trinity) as these are cake to glitch provided you are half decent at soldering

Would amend title to confirm it's the Xbox360 as the 'new' Xbox is the Xbox One.

just to mention it can be £129 if you pay online and collect from your local Tesco metro or express (delivered to store)

Why are people hung up on the new E model? I actually prefer the Slim model, it looks better has more ports available and is as quiet as the E model. There literally is not much difference between the two.

Isn't it likely that the copy of FIFA included in this will be a specific bundle version without it's own barcode? If that's the case you won't be able to trade it in.

Makes no difference if you've already preordered the game separately of course as you can just trade that one in instead.

No - its about £169 elswhere so a £40 saving......and if you sell Fifa for £25 then you're getting a new console for £105 (when its typically £150 elsewhere). Its a great deal.

Kids generally want what their mates have and many many more of their friends will have xbox 360s. Of course the exception to this are spoilt brats who expect over £400 to be spent just on them and who will be ungrateful with whatever you buy them...

Doesnt matter if it's the E or S, will still be a cracking deal.

Now got confirmation that my order has been dispatched, getting delivered to my local Tesco today (hopefully) will post a pic to show if it is the S or E model.

I am happy it's a S not E model Means it will match my other 360 brought this time last year from Tesco. I already have fifa 14 UE due today and have pre-sold my bundle copy. So great all round for me

What's to be confused about? Most people paid £129 (£130 including £1 item), anyway not £150.

Not taking in to account personal offers/codes discount, new console has cost me £93.12 on it's own, they sell for more pre-owned in Game.

bought x box 360 today for 9year old grandson in HMV it is 4gb memory with kinect included + 2 kinect games +1controller 1months subscription to xbox. £149 99. dont know if it S or E.
