sorted by1] Lots of back log of titles that could and will get cheaper as the next gen consoles are released.
2] To keep as a spare in case current unit breaks down - cheaper to have this then acquire parts and time/effort to swap etc.
3] It's cheap..
Totally depends on what level of reverse engineering you want to apply to the device!
But yes the rule-of-thumb is indeed that the newer Corona slims are more tricky as you need to buy a Postfix Adapter to access the POST_OUT point as Microsoft go wise to the RGH (ResetGlitchHack). Also the DVD ROM's are harder to flash as again Microsoft implemented better protection!
If you are looking to get a 360 to mod then I recommend getting a second-hand Slim (trinity) as these are cake to glitch provided you are half decent at soldering
Actually you could have sold the vouchers on ebay for like almost double the cost plus.
So in fact not really the best use of your bargain
Total cost for me was £62.15 collect tomorrow.... WIN!!
I checked google shopping for £1 item, here.

Glad to help, mine died last week and I bought a PS3 bundle, wish I had waited now!
Have some heat OP..... This is gonna go white hot.
Just need to sell FIFA and find a good GTA5 now! (Anyone know what price to expect for FIFA 14)
Thanks for posting this.

Thats my plan. Cex £36

So the price would probably not be as cheap as this deal if we assume your current xbox360 breaks 8 months later?
I should imagine it's possible but would have to ask why?
The Xbox 360 Slim is a 'modders nightmare' as I believe you have to change a chip on the motherboard. Maybe others know more about this than I do!
Surely the best and cheapest 360's to modify are the 'phat' models. Flashing the hard drive is a lot easier than taking the newer shape consoles to bits.
Why are people hung up on the new E model? I actually prefer the Slim model, it looks better has more ports available and is as quiet as the E model. There literally is not much difference between the two.
Had a £5 Clubcard voucher, so £125 delivered to my local Tsco Express tomorrow afternoon.
Will probably sell FIFA 14, so this must surely be the cheapest XBOX 250GB deal ever?
Yes people do buy vouchers for example you want to fly to france AVIOS allows you to book your ticket one day notice for 49 pounds
Try that on BA website and see how much you get asked to pay
Tesco Clubcard vouchers are very useful
Wanna buy an engagement ring and look 4x richer Yep Tesco clubcard Vouchers
Wink wink maybe you will get it 4 x more just cause she thinks you spent 4x more than she knew your budget pocket could afford either way Tesco Clubcard vouchers can make you look 4x the boss so they are generally worth something
Makes no difference if you've already preordered the game separately of course as you can just trade that one in instead.
Gamestop take bundled games as acceptable trade-ins.
No - its about £169 elswhere so a £40 saving......and if you sell Fifa for £25 then you're getting a new console for £105 (when its typically £150 elsewhere). Its a great deal.
just be aware the 20 off 150 code ends sunday and 20% staff deal dont start until monday - i was hoping to do the same thing
To give you an idea of how long this console generation has been, I'm nearly old enough to be your Dad, but I was still a student when I got my first 360.
He probably won't be when he watches all of his friends brag about their Xbox One consoles.
Kids generally want what their mates have and many many more of their friends will have xbox 360s. Of course the exception to this are spoilt brats who expect over £400 to be spent just on them and who will be ungrateful with whatever you buy them...

They used the picture of the S consolde. OP used the picture of the E console.
What's to be confused about? Most people paid £129 (£130 including £1 item), anyway not £150.
Not taking in to account personal offers/codes discount, new console has cost me £93.12 on it's own, they sell for more pre-owned in Game.

Give it back then. Simple!
Exactly also I even put on here that Tesco had confirmed it was the S.
