Just tried it on another thread and it worked a treat. I copied and pasted the URL you provided "http://static.hotukdeals.com/images/threads/high-res/2134892_1.jpg" and simply changed "2134892" to the relevant one on the other thread. Might be the long way round but I know how to enlarge the picture now

Store I went to it's still £129.99

Lichfield branch - forget about it. Nothing. In fact, the Wii U/3DS section hasn't been there for a few weeks now (I believe). Just a rack of infinity characters.

Nintendo unit sales since launch, are just over 9.2 million for the Wii U - which is a flop, commercially speaking - I would imagine this is now taking effect & large retailers like Tesco must be thinking, quite wisely, "huge risk" & are withdrawing support.

Hmm - shame really, as some of the Nintendo games are top of the class.

Them's the breaks in an overly saturated gaming market where consumers are being persuaded to move towards 'raw power' over ingenious software design.

So yet again you can say something is on sale at tesco, take a pic of an empty shelf with a sale tag and get stupid amounts of heat for a wild goose chase, usually stating that you bought the last one. But dont forget to add the magic words "it could be national" and then you may find a handfull of people may find one at a couple of tesco's if they are lucky. This then gets stupid heat for 10 items sold at most. Yet there are deals on here that barely reach hot that are freely available to order online and if they were in such short stock as these deals would not get out of the low numbers as they would be oos straight away. As someone stated earlier these Tesco wild goose chase deals are slowly erroding this site.

If you spot one, could be worth getting to trade in for the new 3ds xl coming out soon as I think it's worth about £55 towards one.

Checked my local store and they only had Ice White & Pink ones and they are scanning at £89 so it's either a color specific or store specific deal, or even both.

Sounds a bit of a goose chase to me. (_;)

A comment that had nothing to do with the deal, just a rant about tesco deals in general. People have been infracted for it before, so its obviously against site rules. Its also extremely boring when you're looking through comments to see 'wild goose chase' comments over and over again, yeah we know, they aren't easy to find, but at least when they are posted, when I'm next in Tesco I know what to look for!

Very nice - if it's a national offer. Clearly they're getting prepared for the New 3DS next week....
