If you're looking for the game The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Nintendo Switch) - £47.99

Updated with a 7" OLED touchscreen, 64GB of storage, thinner bezels, and enhanced audio, the newest member of the Nintendo Switch family continues to deliver the flexibility to play your favourite titles at home or on the go. This Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom edition features design inspiration from the upcoming game (sold separately).

Switch it up - 3 ways to play

TV mode - connect the Switch to your TV, like an ordinary console, and use the controllers to play all your favourite titles alone or with friends while you relax on the sofaTabletop mode - prop the console anywhere and use its built-in screen and detachable Joy-Con controllers to have fun on any flat surface.Handheld mode - attach the Joy-Cons to the sides of the tablet console to create a completely portable gamer. You can also remove the Joy-Cons for 2 players to get involved.
OLED screen
The vivid colours and high contrast of the new 7" OLED touchscreen deliver a rich handheld and tabletop gaming experience, bringing games to life whether you're racing at top speed or squaring off against enemies.

Battery life
You can play while you charge your device using the included AC adapter, but other USB Type-C chargers should work as well. The device can last approximately 4.5 and 9 hours on one charge, but this depends on the games you play and the number of gamers involved. For example, the battery will last around 5.5 hours for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Note it doesn’t include the actual game

That's ridiculous, how do you sell a limited edition console for a game without the actual game...its like the collectors edition that don't include a game.

Bought, straight into the loft it will go. 👌

Just don’t plan on leaving it there for much more than 6 months or the built in battery may never charge properly ever again.

As mentioned you'll need to sign up as a member before the code works (just having an account isn't enough) also check your weekly member 'scratch card' before purchasing and you might get a further discount.

Awesome price - should go scorching

Calm down matey. It's only a 6% saving.

No game included, Nintendo are an absolute joke
  6. Moody_Cloud's avatar
Only Nintendo could release an overpriced, special edition console and not include the game
    J_Staunton's avatar
    See also the Splatoon version.

    Good ol' Nintendo...

Deceptive of Nintendo to include the game cover art on the box. I have written to my MP and trading standards asking for a ban on this console. They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this.

Cold from me, last gen system that costs more than a Xbox series S. Also any company that sells a limited edition without the game (thus profiteering and ripping off the customer) doesn't deserve a penny of your hard earned money.
    Chris.sss's avatar
    this is Nintendo's current console.

I think the games RRP is £60

they would only be ripping of the customer if they said they was giving you something and they didn't?

Good price for this. Personally I just can't justify getting a new Switch 6 years into its lifecycle. Surely at this point it's worth hanging on for the successor
    Nad_84's avatar
Any insight or rumours? We expecting something?

Had me until no game 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️
    rnem170's avatar
me too.... it's like the pictures of a PS5 on eb*y that sold - but no one read the "PS5 not included" disclaimer. If the game isn't out until later in the year, I would imagine the limited edition console won't be available then - so if you want it, you'll have to buy the console now and then fork out again when then game is.

Wish I could justify this but with my switch working fine, only using it in docked mode and the switch 2 on the horizon I can't throw the £300 at it. Heat though.
    reddragon105's avatar
Ah yes, the Switch 2 - definitely coming any day now since March 2017.

Mines arriving tomorrow 😁 sold my Animal Crossing edition switch for £230 and bagged this upgrade, being a massive Zelda fan made this an easy choice I love my switch for first party games and Indies on the go

Can't justify getting this in the current climate, but best price around. Great first deal. Voted hot!

Best price was Student Beans discount with Nintendo I believe
  15. samuel_27's avatar
Nintendo logic - sell a limited edition console that doesn't include the game.
    Pauley-B's avatar
Crazy right, it’s like they should be a charity and just give stuff away! What a cheek to try and turn a profit!
  16. mattlong37051's avatar
It makes me a little sad, I really want one of these but I just can't stomach paying out for what would really be cosmetic value on a device that's so long in the tooth, guess I'll just keep my standard model.

I'm going to give it heat though for sure
  17. Jesusaur's avatar
As many others have said, just can't justify getting one this long into the life cycle even though every part of me wants one. Heat added though
    doppo666's avatar
Only reason would be to keep it unopened it box it up and resell 20 years down the line (edited)
  18. Jon_Kilner's avatar
Nice one, thanks. Switch might be an 'old' console. However it's still well supported and getting a constant flow.of.new games. This is why Nintendo consoles are different to the likes of the Xbox and PS.

Look at the 3DS, had a long life and lots of special editions
    Jon_Kilner's avatar
All of which retain a lot of their value, unlike other consoles
  19. AdrianoRaffaele's avatar
It’s a great system and a Zelda fans must have. It will hold its price and increase in the years to come so it’s an investment too if taken care of. Those who haven’t got a switch and want one should defiantly consider this edition. Those awaiting what Nintendo have next need to hold out a little longer.

If you’ve already got an OLED Switch and like the look of it, there are some nice vinyl kits on Etsy that will make it look similar.

I have JL vouchers. Might as well though I begrudge overpaying. JL will go out of business anytime so why not. Oh well.
    MysteryBlock's avatar
Overpaying?? This is the lowest price you can get this console?
