    Why £4.99 just for C&C.

Hi Ivan. Feel like I'm being a bit judgy, but to answer your question, probably because Sports Direct is owned by Mike Ashley.

If you need to return for any other reason apart from a defective product (don't like, don't fit etc) you have to pay another £4.99 to return (they won't allow you to return to a Sports Direct shop).

They're kind of like the hidden costs that you get with Easyjet (pay for baggage, pay for wrong sized baggage, pay for going to the toilet etc), and are part of their business model. If everything is okay, might work out a good deal, but might end up costing more than a retailer selling for full price.

Just speaking personally, but it can make me feel a bit cheated, so I try to avoid organisations with this business model.

I must say however, I found it quite therapeutic writing this (didn't realise my reasons for not liking Sports Direct before), so thanks for asking the question

Worth mention that the prices quoted are not always the price you pay, as once the shoe size is selected it changes.  Annoying when a shoe is advertised at £55, with only one size remaining, which when selected increases to £66.  Additionally annoying when in clearance, and a 20% extra discounts advertised, but not applicable when trying to use online.  All smacks of false advertising!

Hate the fact they won’t refund and only offer store credit.  When you look at their practices, and have experienced it first hand I avoid them as much as possible.
