Another niche camera deal

This is the lowest I have seen, looks like amazon are dropping prices to compete with some cashback offers.

Note: Olympus specifically state that Amazon do not count as a cashback retailer.

Also note the 2224 next best price is after cashback.

Went for the Lumix G9 with Lumix 12-35 for £999. Not as good as the OM1 but half the price.

I’ve owned several m43 cameras and continue to use Olympus on the side.
Great cameras, amazing features etc but i really am not sure if £2k for one can be justified all things considered.
Everyone has there use cases and I’m sure this suits some, but there are some good larger sensor cameras knocking about for less than this

Pound for pound, I'd say the Pana G9 is the best value mft specially in the used market where you can pick one in very good condition for under 500.

Voted HOT as this is now close to the price I had temporarily bought the Olympus Em1 Mark III from a deal here, also from Amazon.

Generally speaking, and although I'm not planning to buy this soon, imo this is a good deal for an even better camera.

Have OM Systems committed to supporting Olympus cameras (firmware, warranty, etc)? I'm a bit out of the loop.

As far as I am aware they have.

All my Olympus and om kit is registered on the same website for warranty.

The om1 I suppose is a bit of an oddball bearing on new naming system and the last camera to carry the Olympus name
