Nikon D3400 + AF-P 18-55Non-VR Digital SLR Camera & Lens Kit, £259.19 at Argos/ebay

I rarely miss the zoom etc from my old bridge camera (panasonic fz200). My nikon d5500 is so much nicer to use with far better IQ. But its personal choice of course. I would probably favour a compact with large sensor over a bridge.

I agree: if you can sacrifice the zoom the RX100 Mk3 ( 4x zoom) is a good compromise in the range between the pricier newer models, and the lower spec older models. It is lightweight and portable, has a large sensor, a viewfinder, a tilting screen and a quality lens. Ideal for backpacking, or a phone with a highly rated camera is always an option of course. A smaller camera is also more readily concealed too, an expensive looking DSLR can draw the attention of the local thieves, wherever you are.

It will be an issue for small claims court, but it will cost hundreds more before resolved and even then they’ve breached the data protection act by sending a company laptop to a scumbag tech site (lol) will probably be years before it’s dealt with- until then I’m down a laptop and hundreds on top. The worrying thing is from reviews I’ve read- I’m not one of a handful of people (seems to be pretty common with argos)

That's bonkers! Cant believe they've got away with this. Can't think of who could standards?

i have got a D3100 NIKON , will this work with all the kit i have ? ie, lens and flash and so on ? ty for any info

Nikon Z6 + NIKKOR Z 24-70 mm f/4 S Kit Camera - £1,879 @ Amazon

Last chance to get this superb camera kit at this price until the next Nikon instant discount promo. Sale ends tomorrow.

I’ve just setup this Facebook z6 Z7 UK group if anyone’s interested.

I also purchased the 50mm f1.8 z mount lens for just under £400 . Also from Very.

Of course. If the camera needs to be recalled then it needs to be returned but I’m just glad I didn’t have to as I could have been sent a replacement without a card. I got the lens kit for £1879 but then an additional 10% totalling £1691. Minus the cost of the free card I’ve got the kit for only £1530 on average. Absolute bargain.

For the value of the card. I’d have been willing to do the recall on mine (party) Mine was through Curry’s but I also got the FTZ with it in the £1879, which I posted on here. Great camera and very happy. I did put a glass protector on mine, my D610 screen did scratch but not badly. Just wanted to keep this a bit better.

Yep I checked. Also got card so glad I also didn’t need to return. Where did you buy yours ? I got mine from

Nikon D5600 Kit with AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR £378.99 at eGlobal Central

Not sure how legit is this web site but this is pretty decent price for this camera I think Use code CHKOUT5 or Use code PAYDAY which brings down the price to £371.99

Can you explain why? This is 25% less than the normal UK best price of £498, a £125 saving. Same camera and lens but as grey market source won't have Nikon UK warranty. So buy with a credit card in case eglobal won't respond to warranty problems, if any, and claim from the CC company. They deliver from within EU, so no import or VAT charges.I've bought a number of items from them without any problems, so I haven't had to test their warranty performance. And imho it's a very good small lightweight SLR, a significant step up from the D300 series. It's my take anywhere camera.

I noticed that you can knock to price down to further £373.99 with this code CHKOUT5

stay well away from these clowns

Why are you linking to a whole different camera. This is a D5600 and that links to the D3500. And the D3500 is also £40 cheaper at eGlobal

The temptation is too much! Amazon are a safe bet, but DJI are also taking orders. V3 isn't out for a little while yet.

DJI Osmo Mobile 2 Phone Gimbal (Refurbished) £69.99 @ itstor eBay
Posted 27th JulPosted 27th Jul
Found on eBay daily deals. £10 saving from £79.99. Refurbished model with all good solid reviews.

The Osmo Mobile 3 costs $119 and is on sale starting today. DJI is also selling a combo pack that includes a tripod and carrying case for $139.

That's the problem mine had, raised a support ticket and sent it back, took about 2 weeks for a replacement, but since then mine hasn't done it again (yet)

Yes, it's quite heavy to hold and carry around, and bulky. It doesn't come with a neat case either, to carry around. If you buy to use for specific events (like filming a wedding), then fine. If you buy to do steady footage of sightseeing, holidays etc., then you will probably use it a couple of times and then leave it home (as I did). As I said, I switched to an Osmo Pocket camera, and I have used it a lot more. Also, the Osmo Pocket is a standalone device, so no need to remove the smartphone from its case, attach to the gimbal, make sure it's balanced etc. Because it's so much smaller and doesn't have to balance the weight of a smartphone, the Osmo pocket produces steadier footage too, at 4k. As per the saying, the best camera is the one you carry with you.

Heavy? It's 485g lol ,I've had worries that have weighed me down more

I remove the case from my phone when using the gimbal

TBH, as long as you are not on something mission critical, not using heavy gear, not operating in hostile environment (windy, e.g.), not using long exposure much, do not need to change the head much (or at all), your £25 one will probably serve you just fine. I have both this and a sub-£20 one - just need to know when to pick which.

I’m sure amazon could think of 143 reasons :)

£165 now Doh !

£85 for the lens? This is incredible price i personally prefer olympus sets than panasonic

Amazing price, I'm pretty sure I bought it used for around this price! Not the best for using on a Panasonic body though unless you've got IBIS

Great price. Personally I prefer the smaller form factor of the Pany 35-100.

Anyone used with an osmo 2?

Good value lens for this range. I can imagine that trying to photograph a flower in the foreground with a building out of focus in the background hard with this minimum aperture. But as you say that's not a traditional landscape shot.

I wouldn't say its too slow for landscape which is what this lens is generally aimed at. And it's aimed more at those who perhaps only have a kit lens and maybe a nifty fifty. Obviously not aimed at a working professional.

I chose the Tokina 11-20 over this one a couple of years ago. Was a close choice but the Tokina won due to being 2.8. Not saying this isn't a great lens but there are other options out there. 4.5-5.6 is a bit too slow for a lot of people.

got this from amazon, but JL is even better customer service.

Great price and lens, so want one of these but don't have 200 to drop at.
