I sent a message to Anker on Amazon to ask if they could send me a bag to match their own website offer. They can't but they offered me a £20 partial refund instead. Rather than mess about with returns, I'll take that, so it makes my unit £380!

535 anker 512w with solar for £700, a 1000w is a kw, so let’s say we use 500w every day, that’s half a kw, currently a kw cost 36p in the UK, so half that to 18p a day saved, so in 356 days a year is £64.08 saving on your energy bill, so in 11years it will of paid for it self. (this assumes it getsfully charged everyday of the year by the sun and there no more than12w of battery delegation in that time.)

Power is measured in watts; energy in watt-hours, so you mean 512Wh, etc. As you suggest, it's not an economical proposition for saving money on electricity bills. The usable capacity will only be about 80% of that 512Wh, and there are inefficiencies in conversion too!

Ordered the re furbished one at first for £330 , but then realised it only had 1 yr warranty so for £400 on the Anker website I got it new with a 5yr warranty and a free carry case instead. Even the deal on the Anker website is a hot deal tbh as they have £200 off voucher.
