Spring Clean your PC with this full version of O&O’s maximum performance-enhancing software.Regular defragmentation speeds up systems, extends the life expectancy of hard disks and provides increased data security. O&O’s Defrag 25 can simply be installed and then left to do its work. It will carry out whatever is needed on a user’s machine on its own; configuring and running all settings automatically, according to the requirements of each system. Maximum performance practically out of the can.

Alternatively, O&O Defrag users can of course configure their own settings manually as much as they would like.

Thanks to its innovative method of analysing Hard Drives & SSDs, data fragments scattered on them will be combined and saved more efficiently, resulting in read-and-write processes requiring fewer accesses to find space, improving start-up times & more real benefits, giving your PC a real Spring Clean!

As always, everything happens automatically in the background. Even a change from hard disk to SSD will be recognized and the optimization strategy adjusted accordingly.

O&O Defrag 25 Professional Edition will work with all versions of Windows but has also been optimised especially for low processor and memory capacity in older systems.

NB: This is not a trial version. Full access & usability is granted.

Miss the old days when I was literally Fanatical about defrag. (edited)

Hours spent watching DOS Deftag's little ASCII blocks turn red, knowing that it would save you 10ms when you really needed it. Those were good times

I used to be a fan of this defrag a decade ago but the reality is Windows defrag is fine if you still have mechanical drives, performance isn’t bad enough on modern HDDs to warrant fancy defrags that move your data around based on usage, etc.

    Will this stop bitrot?

They might as well make it freeware, apart from backup drives, I don't suppose many people use HDDs for system drives these days...

Complete and utter waste of time (edited)

For ssds sure. Shortens life span unnecessarily. But large amounts of stored data on mechanical hdd benefit from degramentation. So not a waste of time. Proven (many many years worth of) fact.

You also get a coupon for 7% off game bundles, so it's worth it for that

Jokes aside, it's decent defrag software for the very, very few people that need it these days. Just be sure to turn off the scheduled defrag of SSDs that it seems to try...

Anybody know where I can get a copy of Windows 98 on floppy's in FAT 16 format?

I only installed from CDROM. Pretty sure you'd need a LOT of floppies. You can find ISO images online, but only for CD.
