This is my go to app now for game freebies, ignore the fact that it has Epic in the title, this is to get people searching for Epic (as I was) to find the app accidentally. This app is bloody marvelous >
Epic Freebie Games Radar (don't be fooled by the word Epic, it covers multiple platforms)
play.google.com/sto…=US
It is ONE location that tells you free games for Indie Gala, Epic, Steam, Gog, Fanatical. Free to Play weekend games and a subscription section which tells you about free Amazon games essentially.
Also it will remind you when the games are released using Android notifications. No one else mentions this app but me it seems, but I use it all the time. I know all the deals will be on HotUKDeals too, so it prompts me to come and look at the discussion on any interesting games. It is a WIN WIN situation. I found it completely by accident and one of the best app discoveries I've ever found.
I have no idea if there's an iOS / iPadOS version, I have never looked but if you have Android this app is a complete no brainer.
One last important thing to mention is this app also tells you about future freebie releases same as these deals do. (edited)

I wonder why they have called it Metro Last Light Complete Edition, when I think the only version currently on store fronts is called Metro Last Light Redux.
Metro Last Light Redux (2014) is a re-release of Metro Last Light (2013), plus the DLC and an engine upgrade. It is essentially the Complete Edition, but isn't called Complete Edition. Plus the original 2013 version got delisted along with the original Metro 2033 when the Redux versions were released to drive sales onto the new versions.
So odd for a 10 year anniversary they wouldn't refer to it as Redux, which it has been called for 9 of those 10 years. (edited)
Just carry on with Epic then? Why even comment?
So I see this when it's posted, so I plan ahead so as not to forget and place a reminder in my phone.
I checked midnight, nothing, then see people saying 6pm UK time for live.
Just logged in, searched and saw it for free. Yes, finally!
Went into it to add to basket and what do I see? The button says ..........play!
I've only already got it and not played it since 2014! So I'm currently reinstalling it lol.
Thanks OP.
So what's the difference between this and the redux? Is the redux a improved gfx version? Thanks (edited)
For Metro 2033 I think it included a graphical upgrade moving to a new game engine, but for Last Light I think it was some smaller tweaks, plus some additional game modes - Spartan, Survival and Ranger mode - essentially harder ways to play the game.
