Good offer from the 1st November which also ran last year too and seemed popular. The offer is available all day every day.

I think this kind of thing needs to be MASSIVELY applauded. For some it will mean a filling meal they couldn't afford otherwise, for others some time out of their cold house in a warm sociable environment for as long as they can drink tea for. It's more than just a soup and some bread for £1. (edited)

I agree. However very sad to think in 2023 people are still struggling to pay for food and put on heating.

Shame it will cost me £4 on the bus to get there and back. But certainly a good deal.

If I went in and said I identify as a 61 year old, will I get this deal?

I can’t imagine the soup will look anything like the photograph.

The soup last year was good and a nice fresh roll. Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it.

You will be fine as 60 don't look that old these days

This as greatly appreciated last year.  The vegetable soup was the best.  Morrisons also doing their ‘ask Ellen’ free crumpets again as well.

I'll give it a try. My Asda is only 5 minutes away by pushbike so if the soup OK I might just be a regular customer until February.

Soup and unlimited tea & coffee.
What's the queue gonna be like for the loos?

If you can still find an ASDA that hasn't had its restaurant replaced by a McDonalds.
    premierfella's avatar
Would you believe that there are mythical Asda stores out there with a cafe AND McDonalds!

Excellent Offer - Do they have a gluten-free option :/

Best check beforehand as it isn't available at every branch.

Local store is an expensive, independent cafe, not Asda

I looked into the cheap fish and chip offer sometime ago and my nearest Asda with their own cafe was Weymouth, the 3 or 4 other Asda stores within 40 miles didn't have their own cafe. Seems like Asda having their own cafe is a rarity.

    Only have 205

What's the regular price for this "meal"?
    qwert10's avatar
Drinks £2.50 plus, soup probably another £2.50.

We've done this several times after seeing it on here! ta op!
No ID needed at our Asda. It's minestrone or tomato soup with a nice white roll n butter. Any hot drink included, as many as you like. The drink usually costs at least £2.50 so a bargain.
