These have been 99p in past but with restrictions of max 5 per order but think this is a decent price with no restrictions and you're not roaming the site looking to pad your order up to £25. I've stocked up on this stuff as think it's a decent strong cup.

I try a lot of ‘compatible’ pods, but have had these before and they are not great. Cheap for a reason…

Yeah so have we. I like a strong/dark roast personally and not many compatibles have done it for me really. Only Nespresso themselves, these Cafepod and the Joe's Juice strong ones on here about a year back I would say were half decent. Each to their own and taste is subjective and all that stuff.

I've tried most supermarket own brands, L'or, Costa and some other continental ones. None of them hit the mark.

By the way these aren't that cheap elsewhere. You're looking at circa £6 for 18 so on a par with some of the rest really with the exception of Nespresso who are way pricier.

Ps- who would you recommend? Genuinely interested for future reference. (edited)

You can get 20 Elle pods free with the order as well. Just ordered, thanks

I would edit title to say 36 pods or 2x 18 pods to make it clearer on how many you get.

Well done on posting your first deal!

Cheers. Not overly bothered but it was edited by a mod to £3.98. Certainly wasn't me as I had it at £1.99 originally. Either that or change it to 36 as you've said. Like I said not overly fussed. Should have said that min £25 was for free delivery though. (edited)

I got some recently. Found them disgusting. Maybe I was unlucky

it depends if you like a strong dark bitter coffee  which i do !!   just wish they would settle on a low price not just go up and down

now £2.99 and have to buy 2 so £5.98 for 36 pods ,you decide if they are worth it

Now £2.49 a box, and the same price for the Brunch Blend and Intense Roast versions.

    Yep, not that good.

The current price is £2.49 a box of 18 pods for Supercharger, Brunch Blend, and Intense Roast.
Seems a good price compared with the 108 mixture box priced at £19.99. You can order the same 108 pods (6 boxes) for £14.94.

Btw, I reckon these are decent pods, they're aluminium and hermetically sealed, so should last well past the bbe date.
We've stopped using the cheaper plastic pods (e.g. Amazon Essentials), they don't retain freshness for so long, and too many fail and get stuck in the machine or even explode!

Yeah it's an ok deal now at best. I actually got some at £1.59 and put it in an old expired thread because didn't know how to post a deal at the time. When I got round to it they had gone up. This is still an ok deal imo. £1.99 was better and £1.49 brilliant value. Depends what you want from DD though. I'm quite happy with full coffee orders as it doesn't last long in our house. Others will want to pad an order with other stuff that I don't need or want tbh (edited)

The 99p offer was a great offer but you could only buy 5 , difficult to keep up with any prices now as they all change daily both up and down
