I've been on the fence for a new TV for 3 years now and I finally purchased Panasonic TX-65JZ1500B for £1,340.10! Thought it was a great deal, Brand new and 5 year warranty. Retailed at £2,245 at launch in summer 2021.
This TV is Panasonics Top of the range TV minus the Dolby Atmos Sound Set up as per the TX-65JZ2000 they both feature the Master HDR Professional Edition screen which is even brighter.
This is a 2021 TV and 2022 TVs are due out this year will be considerably more than what prices are right now.

I rang the Edinburgh store on 0131 556 7901 and spoke to John this afternoon who was a very helpful chap too.

Review here:
Panasonic JZ1500 (TX-65JZ1500) 4K OLED TV Review | AVForums

Putting picture quality first, the Panasonic TX-65JZ1500B leads its class.

Master HDR OLED Professional Edition – the ultimate in OLED picture quality
The TX-65JZ1500B uses a custom-made, Professional Edition OLED panel. Around 20% brighter than the screen used in the lower models, this gives this Panasonic 65 inch TV a stunning sense of realism and vivid colour. If you’re looking for class-best picture quality, you’ll find it right here.

Tuned to perfection – with the help of Hollywood
Helping to maximise the OLED panel’s full potential, the image is tuned by a leading Hollywood colourist. The colourist, Stefan Sonnenfeld, is the talent behind blockbusters such as Wonder Women 1984, and brings the delight of the cinema to the small screen. With the Panasonic TX65JZ1500B you get to see the picture, just as the director intended.

Powerful new processor – HCX Pro Al
Panasonic’s powerful new HCX Pro Al processor identifies the type of content you’re watching – such as movie, sports, music or news – and automatically optimises the picture and sound settings to suit. This gives you the very best in sound and vision, without having to make any user adjustments.

Dolby Atmos and Cinema Surround Pro for enveloping sound
Compatible with Dolby Atmos sound, this Panasonic TV creates a more immersive, enveloping sound. Fitted with a 50 watt amp and dedicated subwoofer, the HZ1500B produces a deep, punchy sound. For even more immersion, select the Cinema Surround Pro setting, or use the HDMI eARC or optical digital output to add a soundbar or base.

HDR10+ Adaptive and Dolby Vision IQ – ultimate detail in all lighting conditions
HDR10+ Adaptive and Dolby Vision IQ take HDR10 and Dolby Vision to the next level, making them the ultimate HDR-type picture processors. HDR10+ Adaptive and Dolby Vision IQ use light sensors inside the TV to adjust the picture quality for the best contrast. This improves the picture’s brightness, without ‘washing out’ the depth. You get a consistent picture quality, however light or dark your room is.

Multi-format HDR support for a stunning picture from all sources
As well as HDR10+ Adaptive and Dolby Vision IQ, this Panasonic 65 inch OLED TV also offers multi-format HDR, including HDR10+, HDR10, HLG and HLG Photo. HDR10+ offers scene-by-scene HDR mastering for the truest, most accurate HDR picture technology. Each scene is optimised, meaning the maximum amount of detail is shown – even in the brightest or darkest moments.

See the picture exactly as originally intended, with Filmmaker Mode
Featuring exclusive technology from Panasonic, Filmmaker Mode makes the best of any movie. Designed in collaboration with filmmakers and Hollywood studios, Filmmaker Mode lets you experience the cinematic vision, exactly as the director intended. Overriding the TV’s own motion and picture processing, Filmmaker Mode presents the correct aspect ratio, colour and frame rate – just as the filmmakers intended. Panasonic exclusively add Intelligent Sensing to Filmmaker mode, so that the picture reacts intelligently to changes in light, automatically giving you the most cinematic picture possible, whether the room is bright or dark.

Get the best out of Netflix, with Netflix Calibrated Mode
If you’re a movie fan and use Netflix, you’ll love Netflix Calibrated Mode. This setting bypasses many of the TVs processors, giving you a picture that’s much closer to how the filmmaker originally intended.

Delivers for gamers with Game Mode Extreme
Now with HDMI 2.1 ports and Game Mode Extreme, the TX65JZ1500B packs a range of enhancements for optimised gaming. 4K/120Hz compatibility, HFR (High Frame Rate) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) combine to improve resolution, lower input lag and maximise detail. With a low latency performance of 14.4ms, you’ll be quicker to see enemies lurking in the shadows and faster to react when you need to fight.

Smart TV made easy with HomeScreen 6.0
The latest version of Panasonic’s HomeScreen makes all the smart functions even easier to access. When selecting content from your favourite streaming apps, the system offers thumbnail images, making it easier to find your favourite programme. Support for Google Assistant and Alexa means you can also find content via voice command. The new My Scenery feature offers a selection of background images and videos.

Search, stream and play
When it comes to Smart TV flexibility, the TX65JZ1500B has all the features you need. As well as the popular streaming apps, the TV also offers a full web browser. DLNA certified streaming makes it easy to transfer music and video files from your home computer, laptop or NAS drive to the TV. Also standard is Swipe and Share functionality. Swipe and share lets you use the Panasonic Remote TV app for smartphone media sharing. By using the app on your smartphone or tablet, you can easily stream pictures, 4K videos and music straight to the TV - no cables required.

Listen with two pairs of headphones, with Dual Bluetooth Connection
New for 2021, Dual Bluetooth Connection lets two of you listen, simultaneously, with wireless Bluetooth headphones. Perfect for immersive listening when the kids have gone to bed, Dual Bluetooth Connection helps keep the action intense, without disturbing others.

Upgrade to reference level TV, with the Panasonic TX-65JZ1500B.

This looks fantastic, current and last TV are both Panasonic. I need a 48 to 50" max though. Any equivalent deals in that size range?

Sony 48” A9 for £999 at Richer Sounds as of right now. (probably cheaper somewhere else)

I don’t think the 48” Panasonic JZ1500 share the same premium hardware as it’s bigger brothers.

Where did you get the code? Was browsing through this store not too long ago. Amazing price.

Thanks, I thought the same, I just did an internet search for the TV by typing "Panasonic TX-65JZ1500" then if you scroll down to the very bottom of the search results I saw this:

I cant see the HFC10 code on the website only on the Advert, however it does work!

I was about to go for the the eBay 15% (£75 off) offer with Panasonic Outlet Refurbished (only 1 year Warranty) they have £1,449.99 (£1,374.99 after discount)

You can find this here if you want (eBay code is "BIG15"):

Just got through LG C1 for £1279 how does this stack up?

    This demolishes the LG C1.

As others say picture is fantastic. Feed it the 'good sttuff' and it'll treat your eyes Upgraded from Sony XH95 and when it comes to movie watching it just feels so much more cinematic. That said OS whilst not bloated like the C1 from last year is a bit... 2011 Random quirks here and there so I just use my ATV 4K and that's fantastic. Besides that, it lacks smooth gradation so some lower bitrate content does look worse than on my Sony but I only had the setting on low there and Sony is known for their class leading processing.

Love the stand though - yes it's chunky and looks a bit outdated to some but it swivels and saves a world of hassle when wanting to plug something new in - way better than the squatted mile apart legs several TVs release with. Overall pretty happy and will probably keep it for 2/3 years before going QD-OLED once they've had a few releases and dropped in price (edited)

I bought this TV from John Lewis for £1499 with the £100 voucher via redemption (July). This is a great deal for... In my layman's, humble opinion an amazing TV = picture. Voting hot. (edited)

Not sure why this isn’t hot? Is it because of the unheard of retailer? If the 65” LG G1 was anywhere near this price, the temperature would’ve went through the roof. (edited)

Just opted for the Sony A80J...was looking at this also along with the LG C1 and the LG Evo 2022 panels. Felt the A80J was the best combination of panel, screen sound quality and Google TV o/s for my purposes. The Panasonic picture quality was very hard for my eyes to tell was any better, but the o/s horrible and looked a bit dated. Excellent price though. (edited)

Great deal. Having looked at the comments, I think I’ll wait a bit more for Sony a90J as that seems like hitting all the spots.

I have the 55 inch version of this tv, picture quality is amazing and it was equal to the a90j I had it next to but the os is complete garbage, make sure you buy a media streaming device to go with it.

I have also had problems with earc drop out and if you own a ps5 it currently wont do 4k120hz with vrr enabled, its only 60 for some reason.

It doesn't support 1440p even though you can select it in pc resolutions it will just force 4k120hz. (edited)

Yes, I'm afraid it is a known issue the JZ range cannot do 120Hz and VRR in its current state. This is despite Panasonic crowing over the firmware update to the contrary released last November.

When playing via the PS5 it reports the HDMI device connected (the TV) only has a VRR range of 48-60Hz.

When playing via the X-Box you will experience intermittent sound drops when 120Hz is enabled on the X-box.

And Panasonic are unable to confirm if their new incoming new LZ range will work out of the box.

If you want something that works OOTB, buy LG (for gaming). If you're prepared to wait in the hope the issues the JZ range are defeatable via firmware (and are prepared to wait for it), buy Panasonic.

Brilliant TV but echo others, this is suited with something like Apple TV alongside it.

Got this the other week. The picture is really good. Better than my sony xh9005 which I thought was excellent anyway.
Shame they dont come in larger sizes.
This is very cheap. Not sure why it's not hot.

This year the LZ range has a 77" model, 65" is way big enough for my needs
