How to claim your £5 reward:
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Be one of the first 85,000 customers to make an eligible purchase of £10 or more using PayPal, before 30 April 2024.
3. The reward must be used by 30 April 2024, and will be automatically applied when you next checkout with PayPal.

T&Cs apply and offer appears to be account specific. Worth checking your emails to see if you have it. I rarely get any offers and this appeared for me.

    It shows at checkout, before you confirm the payment. I just bought a £10 M&S voucher for £5 (it showed £5 as the total before I submitted the order).

    My PayPal account has been dormant for 2¼ years, yet I still received no such £5 reward via email.

    I only receive emails detailing "changes to our PayPal legal agreement".

    Hello All,

    I didn't get this or any other offer, so decided to contact them and messaged a customer rep and informed them likewise. They replied with this;

    As you have been with us for so long, I have been able to issue you a £15 voucher as a thank you for using the service, so you may not have received the £5 reward but you are now being issued with a £15 reward. Just note the rewards have no cash value so cannot be withdrawn of transferred and that they can only be used with online retailers who accept PayPal. Merchants such as a eBay will not work as they classify as a marketplace and not a retailer.

    I would encourage others to do so too, particularly if you do not receive these special offer emails, I never do and I am glad I decided to reach out to them and ask.

    I'm assuming this will go to Paypal accounts that are quite static to encourage them to use them more! I've never got these emails and assumed it was 'cos of this algorithm. They would have analysts who work this out and create the offer emails (I'm an analyst myself and wrote this kind of selection program!)

    Yeah that's probably a factor but also I have two accounts which I don't use much and only one of them got the code.

    I got an email saying I qualified for this. My partner didn't get the deal though. But we put it towards a new wok from TK Maxx - they currently have some great deals on carbon steel woks if anyone's interested

    I got it without an email as I have marketing emails turned off. This post saved me £5 on spending I was going to do otherwise without PayPal those of us who keep inboxes light can do with seeing the best of market emails on here when something good comes up. (edited)
