    For info it plugs into the mains not usb if that matters to anyone

    Absolutely do get this over the venom. With this you just drop the controller into the dock. The venom and others require you to add things to the controller to allow them to charge.

    I have one of these . Had it just over a year and the back charger no longer works . Makes it a bit pointless now.

    I prefer the flexibility of a plugged charger but it does come with the caveat of another socket used.

    The two ends of the controller are about a centemeter of the floor when fitted so if you allow 2-3 cm higher than the controller you’ll be fine
