Turn your racing experience upside down!

For the first time in HD, Nintendo's Mario Kart franchise comes to the Wii U console, introducing new racing circuit designs and anti-gravity karts that will have players driving upside down. Players will also enjoy a variety of series-favourite features, including the return of 12-player online competitive play, hang-gliders, underwater racing, and motorbikes.

The anti-gravity feature allows for never-imagined racing circuit designs. Players will speed through courses and find themselves suddenly racing on walls in a haunted mansion or upside-down over Princess Peach's Castle as their wheels automatically rotate and shift into anti-gravity gear.

Mario Kart TV lets players share highlight videos they submitted to Miiverse. Crisp HD graphics and a 60-frames-per-second frame rate offer players the most visually stunning entry in the series yet.

Experience a wealth of features that span the series, including 12-player online competitive play. Elements first introduced in Mario Kart 7, such as hang gliders and underwater racing, along with elements introduced in Mario Kart Wii, such as motorbikes and performing tricks in midair, also make their return.

Fan-favourites Waluigi and Toadette re-join the cast of familiar characters from the Mushroom Kingdom, including returning characters such as Metal Mario, Lakitu, and Shy Guy.

This time around, take to the starting grid with Bowser's minions, with all available as playable characters for the first time ever. Will Iggy, Larry, Ludwig, Morton, Roy, and Wendy pip Mario and co to the podium?

Hyrule Warriors is a game that, at first glance, might not make a whole lot of sense. It's a mash-up of the Zelda series and the Dynasty Warriors franchise, for the Triforce's sake. And yet... there's a definite logic going on there.

After all, the Zelda games ARE about a sword wielding hero in a fantasy setting, which isn't all that dissimilar from what's going on in the Warriors series. And both series have crossed into different intellectual property before (Zelda with the likes of Smash Bros., Dynasty Warriors with Gundam). So, what we get are the characters, settings and story elements of Zelda with the massively over-the-top hack 'n' slash gameplay style of Dynasty Warriors.

The delicate balance of the Triforce is under threat and Hyrule is being torn apart by the dark power of the Sorceress Cia. But, of course, that's all really about getting players to take on the role of characters such as Link, Zelda and Midna and others as they fight their way through wave after wave of enemies in locations such as Hyrule Field and the Palace of Twilight.

Developer Tecmo Koei knows its audience, and the game is littered with delightful nods to the fans such as the opportunity to hookshot the moon a la Majora's Mask or spin the world around with Link's ball and chain.

As an added bonus, a second player can get in on the action using either the Pro controller or Nunchuk/Wii Remote combo.

All in all, Zelda fans are in for something that's both very different and very familiar at the same time.

You should, MK8, Toads 3D, Mario bro, Pikmen, DK tropical, Mario 3D| then you can grab Mario Galaxy 1/2........and unlike the Switch ports they won't cost you a kidney, and no online paywall to play MK8.....and i have no doubt you can get everything i mentioned for less than a Switch itself.

At this price it's worth it just to play through the single player. It's pretty short but great fun.

I sold my Series S as thought the games were boring on it. Wii U has some great titles and makes me remember when games were actually fun. (edited)
