Different guitar but need some guidance please.

I've got a Yamaha F310 (bought a week or so ago, new) which I've just opened to inspect for the first time and have noticed that one of the bridge pins sit's a lot higher than the other 5 as if it isn't pushed in all the way. It feels tight and I cannot push it in any further. Is this an issue (or could it become one in the future through use?) As a beginner I have absolutely no idea on these things. Thanks in advance.

The bridge pins on an acoustic guitar basically hold the strings in place on the bridge of the guitar. Without seeing it and looking at it I couldn’t say why it would be higher than the other pins. It’s not an issue at all though. Loosen the string off a fair bit, and it should go in easily enough. If it’s a case that it doesn’t push in easily even with the string loosened off, my best guess would simply be that the hole in which it sits is just carved a little too tight. You could probably remedy that by simply manoeuvring the pin about a bit to widen the hole. If that doesn’t work, as it’s brand new to you, rather than knacker it up I’d just take it into a guitar shop to have a look at. Theyd be able to sort it there and then most likely

I was initially unimpressed but the photos don't do it justice, have a look here: andertons.co.uk/gui…ink

I'm not sure I *quite* see the point in a Custom 24 when the finish looks somewhat standard, but the two-tone effect looks really good and it is less than a new Standard 24 so YOLO.

Absolutely love it after a better look, I kinda prefer it to my pseudo-fancier exotic wood finish. It's just more interesting. Hell, I could probably cover the cost of the pink one with the used selling price of my current one.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo it's so much money but it's not I don't want to but I do.

No zebra pickups is a bit offensive, and it sucks that the headstock isn't pink as well. Looks like other pink models have had both, so for that reason I'm out. Might be an eBay saved search though. (edited)

Standard 24's are on sale all over the place right now as well, though. Even seeing some less than £400. Makes the choice much harder when that top is genuinely the only spec difference and the Standards still look nice.

I do love this pink, though. Especially with the natural wood sides and back. (edited)

I've got a fairly old one of these in spalted maple. They are fabulous guitars full stop, never mind the price point.
