Needed a new PSU and stumbled across this. Not sure how many are in stock, but according to PriceSpy it's a good price considering the market.

For anyone wondering it was the 2018 version that I recieved. YMMV.

Hope it's helpful

Happy Building!

If my PC drew about 500 watts at full load, then I would buy this 1000 watt PSU and run it at 50% load for maximum efficiency sweetspot.

I prefer platinum units myself but gold rating seems most popular with people's wallets...

Bought the "Corsair Shift 1000W ATX 3.0" from this place a couple of weeks ago for a little bit more.
Having the plugs on the side makes things a bit easier.

How is the shift? I have custom Type4 cables which aren't compatible, otherwise I would have gotten it

For anyone that's interested, and your looking to pay in the ball park of £150-180 for a top-tier PSU.
Take a look at this deal:
Thermaltake Toughpower GF 3 1350W PC ATX 3.0 Power Supply PCIe Gen 5.0 80-Plus Gold Fully Modular Quiet 140 Fan EU Certified Black PS-TPD-1350FNFAGE-4: Amazon.de: Computer & Accessories

future proof any build with a top-tier PSU, its the heart, the core component you just can't skimp on.
I brought one and it can take on any contenders you throw in the ring.

These things have gone up in price so much - I bet it’s because they know the latest GPUs need high wattage, high performance PSUs so they can get away with it. The EVGA GQ 1000W (same tier) was under £100 in 2021 and I had an RM1000i for £110 a few years back too.

Think I'd rather get the MSI meg that was posted a few days ago for £139 after cashback. PCIE 5 compatible will go a long way for longevity.

    Are technextday legit?
Their reviews on trustpilot etc. are a bit sketchy, many horror stories on reddit too. Prices seem a bit too good to be true as well from what I'm seeing.
Can anyone confirm they bought things here without issue?

Used them for the first time a couple of weeks ago, bought a "Corsair Shift 1000W PSU", no problems at all.

Don't know what customer services would be like if there was a problem though. (edited)

Ordered using the £10 off code attached to this deal. A little more expensive than previous deals posted 8 months ago from box but unfortunately we don't have time machines.

These will get more expensive with time

I'm considering Be Quiet 1000w. Is it any better than this one?

I would check Hardware busters to see reviews.

For me it's more important to have good warranty (5-10 years) AND one from a reputable company with good UK customer service incase things go wrong (check twitter and see if the company is regularly posting for example).

Performance wise there is very little between PSUs imo when comparing within the same Tier (gold vs gold. plat vs plat) for example (edited)
