Big tip . Never believe your phones weather apps . It has krabi raining nearly everyday and it’s pure blue Skys . It’s because you get rain in the mountains and jungles . So your app just shows rain .

Phuket is full of randy skint Russian guys avoiding frontline Ukraine. Krabi is the place to go. Fly to Phuket spend a night and soak it up then Speedboat over to Krabi and dont forget Maya Bay visit.
    yozzman1234's avatar
Most of them Russians have now returned. But still a lot in Phuket . Krabi is the one . Ao Nang as a base then travel about . Phi Phi good for 2-3 nights (edited)

Was there a few years ago. The water is not as clean as depicted in pictures. Sure better than the crap we have here but that ain't saying much. That said, don't let that put you off, Thailand is a awesome place to visit.

Depends where you are in phuket . Phuket is absolutely huge with tons of beaches . But I prefer phi phi and Krabi

Look at Cape Panwa. Away from the main tourist spots. Has some great restaurants , especially Eat Me where I used their 5G Wi Fi with a speed over 500GB. Fastest I've ever seen and in what looks like a 'Tin Pot' road side cafe. Great food and good beer.

Went to Phuket in October last year absolutely fantastic holiday would definitely recommend and go back!
  20. shropshireboy1's avatar
So that’s about a week in Phuket need at least 2-3 weeks
    Wils81's avatar
1 whole day getting there = a day to recover from the journey.
Last day in Thailand won't be enjoyable, just preparing to fly back.
So yeah 1 week holiday, hardly worth it (from a regular long distance traveller)

Would any of you use a carwow for trips? Like you put out a general itinerary and people compete to find you the best dates/deal? In return you pay the right package a nominal fee?
    Laura.Palmer's avatar
Yep. Transparency is key unlike current approach of Google ads, prioritising money making deals ahead of others. Sounds like a dot.com/AI opportunity. 🤑

Thanks OP, looks like a really good price

Looking at flying man or lon to phuket in the next 2 weeks for a 4-6 week trip . Not a chance. I can't find anything under £1369 .
My Emirates flights November to February only cost £790 . So will have to wait for that trip .
I stay in Krabi with the girlfriend. Far nicer than phuket . But I do like phuket
    henryclan's avatar
How do you get to Krabi from phuket?

    Amazing price.

What is the luggage allowance with this flight?
    Jacinto_Fernandes's avatar
Will be the standard cabin bag 8 or 10 kg and a personal bag on your back.
  29. s20544's avatar
Good Price! Although personally I’m looking out for a direct flight to Phuket without a lengthy stop-off. Years ago TUI ran ‘direct’ flights to Phuket from regional airports with no more than a 1hr refuelling stop in Middle East. (You stayed airside while refueling. It meant for a shorter door to door travel time). Will direct flights from Uk to Phuket return?

I think these flights go via Bangkok. Always best to stop in Dubai or somewhere and then fly straight into Krabi...
    Jacinto_Fernandes's avatar
Sure, if you're happy to spend double or triple

Visited Phuket last year and stayed at Marriott Merlin Beach, it was a nice resort but I didn't much like Phuket in general, it's got a seedy feel, especially at night, and attractions were poor with the exception of the elephant sanctuary.

Actually Phuket! Spending too much recently
