It's crazy to see how cheap ssd can be now. Thanks for the post!

This isn't cheap, it might be considered cheap in the current market. A quick history lesson, conventional Hard Disks, so mechanical hard drives were released in 1TB format in 2007 so 16 years ago. SSDs were just starting to emerge to the general consumer in 2006/2007 but at far lower storage sizes. However in 2023 a truly dismal SSD storage size of 1TB isn't something to be celebrated especially in SATA format. It's a sign of the times that we actually think this is a bargain. We should have 2TB or more at this price really by now.

Semi conductor shortage is over. Prices were artificially high

I know it's QVO but still it's quite a shock to see how relatively low a good quality SSD is these days!

Better off buying the Crucial MX500 for a similar price, QLC FLASH drives like this should b avoided at all costs, especially when there are TLC drives at pretty much the same price.

    870 QVO is Samsung's 2nd generation high-density 4-bit MLC based SSD

That's a typo, should say QLC. (edited)

For non-techies, can you explain the difference and if it's an issue if this SSD will be used in a PS4 Pro? Thanks.
