Thank you op

Smart Thermal Control
Samsung’s nickel-coated controller reliably manages NAND chip heat levels. The 980 PRO's heat spreader label allows thermal control access. The 980 PRO Heatsink uses proven data center SSD technology to dissipate heat, for continuous high-performance gaming on most consoles and PC systems.

Magician software
Unlock the full power of the 980 with Samsung Magician's intuitive yet advanced optimization tools. Monitor drive health, optimize performance, protect valuable data, and receive important updates with Magician to ensure you're always getting the best performance out of your SSD.

Next-level SSD performance
Unleash the power of the PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD 980 PRO for next-level computing. The PCIe 4.0 delivers 2x the data transfer rate of PCIe 3.0 while staying backward compatible for total versatility. The added heatsink elevates speed, power efficiency, and thermal control to maximize gameplay.

Maximum speed
With Samsung’s in-house controller for PCIe 4.0 SSD, the 980 PRO Series is optimized for speed. It delivers read speeds up to 7,000 MB/s, 2x faster than PCIe 3.0 SSDs and 12.7x faster than SATA SSDs. The 980 PRO series achieves max speeds on PCIe 4.0 and may vary in other settings.

A winning combination
Gamers, techies, and designers benefit from thermal control, high-performance bandwidth, and sustained performance for heavy-duty applications. Games load fast for more play, less wait. Smart heat management reduces distracting noise and cooling fan work for uninterrupted, fully immersive gaming.

Fake RRP savings when £70.79 is the non-deal price. So the real savings are £3.54

you couldnt be more wrong. Amazon dropped the price to £70 for NON prime members, and prime members get it at £67. For the last month or more amazon has been selling it for between 80-99£. Third party sellers for less.

Very Good Deal for this .. I paid over £90 in August last year for this ...

Must says it is very fast! Downloads happen very quickly (Dependant on your internet connection) .. transferring files from one drive to another are super quick

The bad thing about this is that if you remove it's heatsink, warranty is void. Very annoying if you initially want to use it with the heatsink but later want to install it into a new motherboard that comes with a proper heatsink as part of the motherboard.

I'd try for a 2tb for the ps5. But only if you can afford it. I think it's £120 at the mo (edited)

Not sure which model you have, but some are limited to PCIe 3.0, which means you'll be wasting some cash, paying for speeds that aren't supported.

Bought this for £74 (£64 after using my £10 off £30) as soon as prime day began. Contacted Amazon for a partial refund and was told they can do it once it has been delivered.
