    See 1* reviews before stocking-up
    Derek_Duval's avatar
Most 1* reviews look like they're from buying fake cards from marketplace sellers.

Good price, but i just wouldn't buy from amazon as their stock can contain fake items.
    ukflyboy's avatar
I'd be very surprised if you got a fake item when you are buying something sold and dispatched by amazon like this is. If you're buying some shady no-name supplier off Amazon then yes, I'd be wary.

Hot deal. I bought a dozen when it was £17.99 for a few Gopros to take skiing. They've been fantastic and super fast for downloading the videos
  5. Mashal.Khan's avatar
Can I use this for Nintendo switch
    ukflyboy's avatar
Yes, and it's A2 rated which makes it better for this use than those labelled A1.

Does anyone know how I could transfer data from a memory card to my phone without inserting the memory card? I want to transfer photos from my camera to my phone without physically putting the card into my phone. So thinking is there an external device available with a wire to connect to my Xiaomi phone?
    slaha11's avatar
You need what's called a USB OTG cable with card reader.

    Maybe something like this:

USB C to SD/Micro SD Card Reader, BENFEI Thunderbolt 3 to SD/Micro SD Card Reader Compatible for MacBook Pro 2019, MacBook Air/iPad Pro 2019/2018, Galaxy S10/S9, Surface Book 2 and More, Grey amzn.eu/d/3…WCb

What is the write speed? Ive not long bought the Sandisk extreme pro card for my gopro 200mb read 90 write
    greatnameuk's avatar
Speeds vary on software device file types etc.. How did you determine this speed
I dont have a GoPro but I will certainly check in windows when it arrives (edited)

Great deal, I paid more for mine for the Samsung plus rather than select
    mudcat's avatar
They're the identically specced cards so hope you don't mean bought the Plus version instead of the Select (which is just Amazon-exclusive branding of the Plus)?
  9. KayJay89's avatar
Any good for Go Pro 11?
    speediemc's avatar
GoPros are funny the only cards I use in mine are the sandisk extremes, Never had an issue with them. I’ve used other brands in the past and there has been issues writing to the cards where the GoPros have froze

Does Amazon still mix their new products with third party sellers to sell as new?

SD Cards are the easiest to counterfeit and 256gb is a lot of data to lose.

Thank you, literally ordered this yesterday night for £19.3. just cancelled and re-ordered. Hopefully I get my steam deck soon.

Ah I just got the MyMemory 256gb micro SD in the post, should I return it and order this instead?
    amour3k's avatar
    Get both.

If not, get the OP's one.

Though arguably the same quality anyway, etc?

For the same money though, I'd rather go for the Samsung. :-)

  26. ctraxx's avatar
Got two of these on last promo, they do work fine for gopros and my drones but for constant write like in DVR they would just constantly crash. Used old Samsung U3 and it was working fine. Something fishy about these cards.
    Deal_searcher's avatar
Different cards for ones that are constantly written on

What legion on HUKD that did this enough for it to show up as recommendation?

    ck3245's avatar
Foolish people were buying multiple 256GB cards, grinding them down, then gluing them back together to create 1TB cards. It did not go well.
  37. Rangnarok's avatar
That's some outside-the-box thinking! shame it didn't work out.

Any good in a steam deck?
